Birchtree's Account Talk

Re: Birchtree's account talk

I just heard that Ruby Tuesday's (RT) earnings were up 40% and that has pushed the stock up to $8.04. I'm in as low as $0.85 and recently bought more the other day at $6.89. If gas prices start coming down all my restaurants will feed the poor and still make money.

Re: Birchtree's account talk

"Stocks Stealth Bull Market End Probability. The probability to an end of this fledgling bull market remains very low at less than 20%, as the Dow has so far done nothing to suggest otherwise with the trend to date inline with expectations for that of a significant summer correction. The quality of the stocks bull market for the balance of the year will become clearer as the current correction unravels to 7,500. Existing analysis is for a 50% rally which targets Dow 9,705."

Re: Birchtree's account talk

The S&P has suffered three 14 to 1 down days across the past three weeks, neutralizing the bullish momentum coming off the March lows. This is a bear head fake and will pass shortly. We will have to get used to these corrections because they will be with the bull market all the way to the next top several years from now. Snort.

Re: Birchtree's account talk

Birch hope you and your eternal bullishness are right for all those in but I think it has some correcting to do... DA FIREANT

Re: Birchtree's account talk

Birch,
My 'Born Again' good friend :)

Gee Whizzz there sure are a lot of 'bad vibes' going around.

So I come where the 'positive outlook' never wavers :D:D

Yeah I know it might sound a little corny but when everyone is fleeing to the Lilly Pad and the 'doom and gloom' takes over...

THAT'S WHEN THE BULL COMES OUT and takes charge. Snort!

Later dude I'm way behind - but enjoying this new facility

Re: Birchtree's account talk

I've been shopping most of the afternoon in Tuckasegee, NC, Cashiers, NC and Glenville, NC. They got some great properties on lakes for those that have the dream like I do. And they are not busy because of the poor economy. My next stop will be Lake Keowee, SC. I'll be visiting the area this January after the wedding of my Army captain. Today in Cashiers at 4200 ft the temperature was 66 degrees - that's where I need to be in the summers to enjoy my retirement. Yes, I have the dream - this market will help that dream to be achieved. All I have to do is keep buying Steak N Shake (SNS) stock.

Re: Birchtree's account talk

Perhaps it's time for the arrival of Sarah Palin. I admire this woman and suspect she can rejuvenate the markets with some positive comments. She is pro-capitalist and business oriented - we need that kind of leadership to off set the current socialism. She is going to be the Republican voice that has been missing lately. Go Sarah.

YES! And may God bless her and her family. And watch over them with his protective hand.

Re: Birchtree's account talk

OMG - I am so 'burnt out' I realy can't tell if you're playing around
(Birch and McDuck)

One more chart to finish and I'm finally heading home

May His hand protect you and yours as well

BTW - I got a good laugh - thanks

Re: Birchtree's account talk

Any words on the status of your new margin account, Birch?

Nadeem says we've only got about a month left of downside before the stock stealth bull market commences.

Re: Birchtree's account talk

The F-fund is the best performing TSP-fund for 2009 by at least 1% :toung:

Re: Birchtree's account talk

Of about 7,000 companies that report dividend information to S&P, 233 increased their dividends last quarter, down 49% from a year earlier. In addition, 250 companies decreased their dividends, the highest level since 1957. Another example of things being tough all over - you want a higher payout simply buy more stock. I think I'll chase the market today and buy myself a few more wall flowers.

Re: Birchtree's account talk

Since the NYSE is much stronger than the Dow today I decided to chase the market and bought: HUN, KBH, CX, GE, UFS, ELN, AGO, AIN, MTW, UDRL. That's now 89 purchases since 6/26 with many more to go.

Humm... check out the AT

This is one time we can say 'Friends don't let Friends Buy and Hold'

Sorry Birch - but it's hard to resist pointing out how easily others made better than 30% and all the more 20% or better

by using G/F/C/S/I

Birch - look around for a glass bottomed boat - and I'll try to come up with a few Hare Christna outfits..... had a wild idea last night ;)

AGO...you're stretched on that one......I believe their estimates are higher than Cheech and Chong man....But I like your other ones.

Re: Birchtree's account talk

Great News Birch !!

I just noticed another investment option called 'Income'

Since this IS NOT G Fund - if you move everything to 'Income' you may be able to retain your reputation.

There's not an 'official policy' regarding the Income Fund but IMHO if you move out of High Risk - you lose the crown.

Well I hope you found some great sites for the future home. This is an excellent time to grab the deal of your life. I'm sorry for the millions and millions who had to suffer - but this was all for you Birch so take advantage of the timing.
