Birchtree's Account Talk

Re: Birchtree's account talk

Gosh, I didn't know people posted over the weekend. I'll have to check it out if time permits. Way to go Birch.

Re: Birchtree's account talk

"Whether this turns out to be a rally in an ongoing bear market, or a new bull market, remains to be seen; but, if stocks don't correct soon I think you will see another leg to the upside that will be larger than most expect despite my cautious stance for the past month."

The A/D line is very strong today - this could be my week to finally catch that $100K week. Waiting for the 200 day to fall this afternoon. Many folks appear to be chasing the I fund momentum - that may be a mistake.

Bman,

Who going to take GM place on the Dow 30 shouldn’t the company be delisted?

The market is up over 200 point, and the biggest US company ever just went in to chapter 11 bankruptcy......unF!@# Believable PPT at work No doubt about it.

Re: Birchtree's account talk

Cysco is going to take GMs place in the Dow. Travelers is going to replace Citi in the SPX.

PMan,

CISCO Systems took the place of GM.
Travelors Group took the place of CitiGroup.

There is no PPT there.

The DOW and the S&P are really managed by the (bankrupt) Carlyle Group. That is the super top secret. But, then again, maybe the Carlyle Group was part of PPT before the insidious Stalinist Planning Committee decided to blow the poor out of their homes with an vicious One World Government plot to force 'owners' to overleverage their property in an effort to get face time on 'Flip This House'.

Re: Birchtree's account talk

Well I was close but no Monica cigar on this one. Thanks for the more accurate information. The Dow now will really begin to rock.

Re: Birchtree's account talk

Birch,

Actually, I do have a question you can answer - kinda associated with PMan's comment...

Is todays boom(let) caused by replacing the GM and CITIGroup penny stocks with CISCO and Travelors?

I don't think so, but maybe you or another can shed some light on this question.

Re: Birchtree's account talk

Boghie,

Since you mentioned blowing the poor out of their homes - a key finding from a Fitch report was that subprime, pooled loans that have been modified are souring at high rates despite a change in the loan terms. A conservative projection is that between 65% and 75% of modified subprime loans will fall 60-days or more delinquent within 12 months of the loan change. The only solution is to increase the amount of the welfare check so they can make their mortgage payments. Ultimately most of these foolish homeowners will walk away from the home, resulting in the redefault of a loan.

Re: Birchtree's account talk

hey bogman,

PPT may have a fringe element to it:cheesy:, How’s bough that 10yr treasury is that going up with that satanic group massaging:rolleyes: or the dollar going down with a rock for a parachute due to fed interfearance keepin it real:sick:.

Re: Birchtree's account talk

We are breaking upper resistance lines and that is bringing in fresh money that has been sidelined out of fear. After missing a 40% move they now have regained their courage and are willing to commit their money for the next 40% gain.

Birch, that makes us homeowners:)

Maybe I can sponsor someone. Why sponsor a child in the Dominican Republic when I can sponsor a hapless loser contestant from 'Flip This House'.

Soon enough the commercial real estate REIT Funds will give us the opportunity to become major office and mall entrepreneurs!

Even quicker we will get the chance at owning some McMansions via Alt-A loan defaults!

Always looking for opportunities...

You're going to have to work harder to catch me :p
But, I will probably be stepping back to safety upon a momentum stall...

May was a very good month, Birch. Very good indeed. And, better for you than for me - but, I ain't complaining!!!

Watch out for Pill:D
