Well Birchy the ol' C fund took a high hard one to the shorts so some more DCA might be in order. At this point buying a few extra I shares might not be such a bad idea either.

My limit orders are set and ready to be dropped down the hole tomorrow morning at the open. The fundamentals actually look better than ever for these targets, yet the herd is selling them off because... I don't know.

The Ducati this summer is on some good rides - what a responsive throttle. I went into the market around 1100 hours after the Dow gave up the opening 100 points trying to burn some cash. I'm not concerned with making anymore capital gain profits the rest of this year unless the market refuses to have mercy and I'm forced into a corner as an exit. Even at a 15% tax rate requires certain diligence and I need to keep the adjusted gross income as reasonable as possible so I can take some deductions - the step up gets harder every year. This morning I bought: CF, AYE, MOS, CRK, CSS, CSX, CXG, RES, RKT, MLI, CVG, SR and TRA. I've only got 5 more free trades and then I move into regular commission basis - but that's life when you are successful. I was thinking how my oceanic account is protected with certain variables - those being, time, diversification, and the infamous holy grail. Ah, and let's not forget some kind of exit strategy. The tugboat will pull its' own weight on the redeemer of DCA. Now let's knock another 200 points off this market and separate the boys from the accumulators. Snort.

awesome numbers. Love it,many shorted right after releasing numbers. The stock was down several dollars along with QQQQs. CNBC was trying to put a negative spin on it and it backfired..love it!! Markets will explode back over 14k with all these shorts getting squeezed. Panic and blood in the streets make the longs $$$

I've had two songs in my head all day: "Running scared no place to go" by Dell Shannon and "If I had a hammer..." by Peter, Paul and Mary. And as alwys a day that says much to do about nothing. We are in the process of setting a key bottom to the longer term pattern which remains bullish. You must be aware and understand the fact that we are going to see frightening retracements the higher up we go. We are now at a 5% consolidation from the all-time high on the Dow. Bull markets do not like company and the higher we go the stiffer the pull backs will be to make sure that not everyone is participating as we continue to move higher and higher. I went into the market when we were down around 375 Dow points and burned a little cash to buy: LII, ABM, FBN, CBI, WPP, GDI, LTD. If we get a dip on tomorrow's open I plan to sell a beauty and make additional purchases of 24 stocks - then I cool my jets and see how much pain I can tolerate. The market cap weighted profits in the S&P are up 15.3% so far compared to an expectation of only 4.3% for Q1. There are only 50% of stocks reporting so far and Kudlow says profits solve credit problems. Well I think my $100K goal for July is shot - I'll be good to settle even on the month.

I think the best I can hope for is that the C fund takes the months of August and September to get back to $17.00. I really want those low priced DCAs to add to my folder. Would also like to see the I fund readjust back to $23.50 so I can get some for another round trip. Don't belabor the point Birchtree - stay calm and hold that greed factor to a minimum.
