Why do you say that?
soon C will be a penny stock?.
Maybe next week a 10-for-1 reverse split may happen with share price of less than $5.00.

jp,
Primarily because of the elevation and cooler summers with mild winters. It's a half back location for me rather than going further north. My daughter thinks the location will be perfect for visitation. The step up is expensive but prices are coming down with more property available.
Just curious. I was looking at New Bern myself but that was only because Nicholas Sparks romanticized the area.![]()
We stayed at a resort in New Bern last summer and loved the area. Plenty to do within driving distance if that is your thing, or just hang out and enjoy nature.
I think you will love the area, Oriental is just a short drive; lots of sailing. Morehead City, Atlantic Beach. Wilmington, Atlantic Beach just about two hours and Myrtle Beach South Carolina just a piece down the road. Back to North Carolina you have Greenville my home town ECU. Then we have Washington or Little Washington as most locals call it another water town with sailing and then there is Bath (Black Beard the Pirate) town with lots of sailing. So come on I think you will enjoy yourselves several writers as mentioned above has wrote several stories based on the little water sleepy towns. Raleigh the capital city nice shopping and of course there is Chapel Hill and Duke home to Carolina Tar heels and Duke Blue Devils. I think you will like the area.![]()
Gosh, now I highjacked BT's thread. But to finish this off... I will probably vacation in NC next year. I am sure I would love it! Was considering Corolla because I think the kids would love to see the wild horses. Hopefully that gives me time to check out some towns for a revisit another year...and then who knows. Could be calling NC my home. (No way to SC)
You MUST mean Lake Marion or Lake Moultrie?I am going to Lake Santee in July. Looking forward to a little SC relaxation![]()
