Birchtree's Account Talk

Birch, it's calling you...
You need to heed the call...
Your friends, they are speaking...

A peaceful place during a peaceful time.

Merry Christmas:)

That's a very nice setting with all those lily pads - they can surely put out some pretty flowers when the mood is right. I've got buying power for Monday so I'll be buying more wall flowers and if the market continues to rally I'll receive even more buying power. I want to put as much money to work as soon as possible - now I know how these fund managers feel. Only they suffer from performance anxiety and I'm just greedy. My objective is to take every dollar the market gives me and put it to work. If 2011 turns out to be anything like 1995 the sky is the only limit to my wonderful madness. Until we meet again - happy trails to you all. I'm looking forward to an abundance of stock splits in 2011.

"The combination of 70 RSI's and sentiment spreads suggest a strong pullback to come in Q1 of 2011." Say it ain't so Mindylou. I've only made 230 individual purchases since 8/1/10 and have a very long road to travel. Since 1945 January has been the fifth best month for the market - so I'll leave it to fate to determine the number of wall flower buys going forward - but I am very optimistic because few are riding this bull market. No one trusts the wooley beast except for us hoofhearted types.

Thought that looked familiar-
Mt Hood and Trillium Lake.

Mindylou says buy early and often: AGO, TLM, AXS, ODC, EP, WR, IT, SUP, SYY, VMC. It's a great day to collect wall flowers.

I like your VMC birch....and from my few years doing (various) construction & having friends and family in the business. -this company rings a bell. Get that new-home builds back up & it will skyrocket.
Of course, you didnt pick this on your own....it was all Mindylou :p
I dont get it.....my cats only trick is beating on the door to go outside.

I have 14 more wall flowers on my current list but I'll have to wait until tomorrow to get enough cash because I spent too much yesterday. Mindylou is encouraging me to continue to build my sacrificial lamb chop account when buying power returns - and I will do that. But I want my wall flowers first. Anything I can make over $8K today will build buying power - Snort.

I'm sure glad I didn't get negatively boned out of my AIG position - in at $21.68 and now reaching for $60. They'll be free of Obama soon.

The goldilocks economy is intact. Now is the time to make preparation for the leg up we dont't know how far it wll go, but who cares for the moment-I just want to be on board for the rocket ride.

Im just re-posting your Mission Statement. :D

For the first time in 22 months Lowry's Buying Power Index rose above Lowry's Selling Pressure Index confirming the bullish trend. Watch those young hedge fund managers try to get through the narrow door all at the same time - venturi effect at full blast.

I make little money in my oceanic when the small caps underperform but that doesn't bother me right now. Hit me again with a small cap slap so I can move up the rankings - there are some things more important than money. I have three more days - probably actually 2 1/2 to see if my strategy worked. Bombs away on the S fund. Trying to get to #38.
