So might the S&P "transition" oil stocks out of the core 500 stocks?

my great-grandkids will be using oil to lubricate the chain on their solar powered bicycles, and their parents to fuel their automobiles, until such a time as we all can sit at home in our digital cocoons and pretend we live and go places.

it's just that right now everybody is broke and can't afford to live or go places is all.

Doubt it anytime soon JF; but who knows about 5-10 years from now. It all depends on whether the open market strategy stays in effect.

Good point. Fuel is something like the poster child we all associate oil with. Reality is we use oil for a heck of a lot more than just energy. The roads we drive on, nearly all plastics, and lots and lots of other stuff are made with oil or oil-based products. You could have a world filled with electric cars and you'd still need oil to make those cars and the roads they're driven on (at least until the solar roadways people or some other "bright" idea can make that affordable).

Moving to 50C/50I today. Mostly just repositioning for longer term. I may end up 100I eventually, but still assessing. Would have preferred to do this on Friday but got caught up in work. Good luck all.
