There was a 28 cent +FV added to the actual I fund share price due to the massive up movement of the US market. It is the "keepers" way of keeping us from timing the International markets after big moves either up or down in the US. Not that we could have know what the market would do after the cut off.

Basically it mean if you went 100% I fund like 350z and I did, you have been screwed out of 28 cents from the git-go due to FV. So we need a 1.1% or better showing in the OSM in order to make a minimum of a push.

If you IFT to the G today before the cut off time you made a extra 28 cents that the FV fairy gave you for free.

If you are in the I fund tomorrow like me you need the OSM to make at least a 1.1% to break even.

I'm headed for the side this week, but timing is everything. :blink::nuts:

PPI and CPI will rock the market one way or the other. We need them to come in tame for the market to rocket higher. Otherwise the Fed has no reason to cut rates. They are in a corner with high inflation and slowing growth and are looking hard for a reason to be able to cut rates.

Yeah, I did IFT to G about 9 am this morning. Guess I lucked out. Thank you so much for explaining that. I read the FV explanation but to a guy like me where all this is new, it's sort of overwhelming. I tried my own hand at it and lost 6000+ since november 1, so I'm hoping to get back on track.

lol Been to Vegas, Reno, etc. and your better off at the local pub with a group of good friends. Thats what I would do. Cheers.

I forgot we are dealing with some people that span the world and that cut off time is noon eastern time.

I hurts when you get one of those gut checks and Nov. has been a real Bear for the beginning of a seasonally Bullish period. Hang in there.
 
Something just happened- Dow futures just took a dive, and are now showing down 20. They were up 40 just 10 minutes ago.


Big fluctuations today.
 
The PPI looks fine - put away the gloom and doom. The Bulls will romp for another day at least. Consumer spending in China was up 18% - that's hot.
 
Today is a big day for the USM. If is green or flat it would be a positive base for the rest of the week. If it turns red by cob...there will be more selling and a posible test of the lows.
 
I think there is a lot of $$ on the sidelines just waiting for a good spark trend. Not just a one day pop.

I agree, but the dollar is down again today and it's due for a bounce. I feel better about the S fund.
