Anyone know the link for the site that posts the TSP results?(not the government site) Someone posted it before, I seemed to have lost it. Thanks

I am feeling good about Friday, I will check out of I fund at COB. Will wait in G for a week or two for the markets to startup, might be 6-10 months to find a bottom though with a few playable rallies in the mean time. Not taxing the rich, burying a couple trillion in the sands of Iraq, giving a mortgage and credit line to any one that can put an "X" on a piece of paper and sending all our jobs to countries with a $2 a day minimum wage has left a mark on our economy.

12%a year,
:cheesy:
I use TSPmoney.com, then at the bottom of the homepage, I click on
"Historical Returns". You'll see Daily,Weekly,Monthly and YTD Returns.
It's the best I've seen. Hope this helps.

I'll second the nomination for the tspmoney.com historical returns page. It shows you not only the returns over various periods such as 10 days, 30 days' ytd, it also shows the best and worst performing thrift funds over those same periods.

10:45 estimate: +24 cents from market change PLUS -FVC of +13 cents PLUS -4 cents from dollar change EQUALS +33 cents

FV=Yesterdays gain of .52%

Observation:

There is no pending FV. The last FV was corrected already. The 0.13 comes from the actual movement of OSM yesterday. The USM was closed yesterday but the OSM was open.

Good luck to all!

Stepped out of I fund, betting this month's overall down trend will continue next week. But we will see what develops. When oil touches and maybe stays over $100 some people will wake up and run for the door, or windows. Will just take a storm, or a oil fire to get up there.

Several of the talking heads this morning on financial TV were saying oil should hit $100 next week, and they expect the markets to tank when that happens, just because of the emotional reaction to $100/barrel oil.

I'm not sure what next week will bring, but the charts are all set up to say that it isn't very pretty. We'll have to wait and see what happens. today is nice- but it may just be a one-day pause in the falling action. too soon to tell for sure.

At this point leave things alone, when more members start usig their opportunity to trade more frequently a fee structure will need to be installed, but we are not there yet.

Drop the fees on each fund to the actual cost to be in the fund assuming no trading and the charge the cost of trading to the person moving funds. That will also make transparent the cost we are paying the Employees of TSP and the people they hire to perform our work.

It will take at least a year to properly execute such a program assuming competent TSP management, which is a pretty wild assumption at this point.

They don't have an improved managment program on tap now so they can't really make any change now.

I just voted ..

I just voted:
Yes, to 2 per month as planned.
15 % (71)
Yes, but more than 2 per month should be allowed.
15 % (73)
No, but those transferring money should pay fees to cover transfer costs.
22 % (106)
No, unlimited free transfers should continue.
47 % (223)

Total votes: 473

Excuse me....I think were light on the 3000.

The TSP talk commentary on the front page made a pretty good argument that the markets are biased up during Thanksgiving week and down the next. That plus the charts and markets make me think the G fund is the house to be in at the start of the week. I'm just learning, but I am making better choices.(knock on wood)

just voted to keep the status quo - unlimited trades. Its my money , let me lose it the way I want to . If it costs more to operate then OH Well , you made it that way.

I'm up in the air for monday morn's move. F with all the tanking I suspect will happen next week?

I read the bit about how us frequent 'day traders' aren't making any head way. Boy oh boy what BS. I earn almost as much actively managing my retirement as my wages. Much more than the highest performance TSP fund.

The board wants to say they run a low cost fund. They no doubt told the staff that the staff will get a crappy crappy crappy review if the costs stay the same or go down. That might work fine if people just bought and held. But us folks moveing funds and out performing the markets are making them look like fools, and creating a cost, small, but measurable cost.

Time for some better customer service or its time to find a new board and staff that can provide it.
