anyone think the econ data for tomorrow (initial claims, exist home sales, crude invent.) will halt the rally?

That's why NO ONE should be calling a bottom yet.

IMO, today is a "no news" is "good news" day.

But, the financial sector never went red today, despite blood on the streets. That has to say something, at least that they already experienced a short-term capitulation prior to today.

By the way, I'm not calling a bottom... I'm just a pawn in this game!

You are correct. Tomorrow will be important, whereas Friday is another no-news day overall.

not a cold water guy causes this was great for me but let see a few good days and a secure bottom (don't take that the wrong way:D) We got a long way to the 14's again.

The way I see it if we have 2,000 points to go at 300 points a day would get us back even in 6.6 days. Just a little dreaming.

Thanks Jeff, it all makes sense now. I kept thinking that you guys were referring to some form of future value...but the fair value makes sense ;-)

Thanks for setting me straight.

Down 13 cents.

21.45

+FV was 41 cents. Very conservative considering the 600 point rally.

They basically used the close of the EFA.

I am not convinced it's over. I think we'll drop again to the S&P- 1260-1270 level at least one more time before the climb starts again. While Asia had a nice rebound last night, I think so many days in a row down and so much panic out there yesterday that we just had a rebound at the end today to try and catch back up with all the losses over the last week.

I am thinking a fall back after bad news in the next day or two, and then perhaps we'll see things level out.

Time will tell.
