Why did he have to be the dumbest person on TV today? Market sells off just about every time he talks.

He is the dumbest person on TV EVERY DAY. Not just today.

"You know, when you give a man more money in his pocket -- in this case, a woman more money in her pocket to expand a business, it -- they build new buildings. And when somebody builds a new building somebody has got to come and build the building. And when the building expanded it prevented additional opportunities for people to work." --George W. Bush, Lancaster, Pa., Oct. 3, 2007

(sorry, it was just too easy a target not to.)

Yeah, that's a fact. What a stupid press conference that was. He gave the markets nothing and just looked stupid.

Note to self:

Stay out of the market when Bush is going to speak.

Our Decider guy, on the economy.....

God, we're in trouble!!!!

Wound licker club! Show-me checking in!

Two major media speaking events. As a some what educated investor I was less impressed with Bush and Bernanke that I was with the kids in 6th grade Christmas play last December. All of them projected their voices and had something interesting to say.

We are going to be paying for this President and administration lack of leadership and lack of fiscal responsibility for years to come and sadly I voted for him.

Another wound-licker checking in. :toung:
Suppose the only way to get this thread going again is to find something even more disgusting than idea Cramer "floated" last night (re: 350's AcctTalk), or picture suggested below.
So, has anyone ever heard TAR sing? :worried:

Do you guys think it's a good idea to make this Gal MAD?
Look at her, NOT ME!!
Gentlemen

Same name but different person. That picture was the Tracey Ray of Women's Professional Boxing, also known as Helga the Terminator. She knocked out Tonya Harding in the first round. :)
Good mustache though!

I logged on to check the latest I fund news and all I've been doing is ROFLMAO.

What happened to the I fund news?

This is great, when the situation is about as bad as it can get you guys can certainly find ways to lift my spirits.

Thanks.

PS: I don't think we should make her mad.

Just got up , looked at the OSM and all I can stay is o S**T. Dollar is up and the UK and EZ are in a major tail spin. NOW I'M GETTING SCARED. Maybe they seen my video about the GAO Comptroller General.

Japan down over 3%.

But take a look at the DAX this morning-

Now showing down (-6.95%)

Blood all over the place.

a BIG drop.

And no way to bail until COB tomorrow for anyone still left in the I.

Current estimate: Down 4.6% or -$1.04 cents.

Don't let the headlines fool you. They are not selling because of recession fears or the Bush stimulus package. It's all about the bond insurers. The Yen carry trade went nuclear over night. This selling is fear driven. I gave warnings about this here on Thursday night and in my account talk thread on Friday morning.

An interest rate cut might be announced Tuesday morning and we will probably start to hear more about a possible bailout plan. If not, then the USM might crash on Tuesday.
