The markets are giving back all of their gains right before lunch. Hm... GE not enough to keep hopes high?

Also, if they do go with this tax incentitive program, when will it actually take effect? I usually do my taxes as soon as the W2s drop, would it behoove me to wait or will you have to apply seperately?

In a bear market, where is the bottom? A continual downtrend, or just no or very slow growth?

Sorry for all the questions... I'm new and the recent news has got me more interested in my TSP account.

Thx

Repeat- this is a not acting at all like a normal down.

This is a bear market type down.

Caution is the word here.

I noticed that the article didnt stay if the rebates were for the middle class working fols or for the bussiness folks. Can someone clarify?

Bear minimum, Where is this market going ? Short Answer, Follow the trend. Two confirmed down day's and I'm talking on the closing number's is trending down. Two confirmed up day's is trending Up.

I will try and watch this thread from time to time but I'm working in the garage right now. :cheesy:

My opinon= two day is not enough to show change in direction. We could easily get a two day up, followed again by a resuption of a downward trend.

IN any case- just beware- this is not a normal market scenario being seen- this is a rare occurance, and one should use caution.

This is true. I have said many times in the past this market is going down. Since the 14000's. Bear minimum 2 day's up or 2 day's down. Shortest trend you can see. Other than that it has been pretty easy staying in the G or F with a quick one day trade her and there. If you get on the wrong side of the trade then you have to figure out how to get out of it if that's what your trying to do. We have not had very many up day's period. :cheesy:

... from "the economy is on stable ground" last week, to "$145 B stimulus, 1% of GDP."

He must have just opened his TSP statement.
