I had a feeling her days were numbered. So much for democracy in the mideast.:worried:

With all due respect and not to condone assassinations, I remember her as being a dragon lady tyrant herself who inherited her position from her father. I believe she was also responsible for political executions and corruption, and ruling with an iron fist. At the time the media touted her overthrow (did the US engineer it) as a good thing for Pakistan. Or was I in a parallel universe then.(or now?) C'mon, I aiin't that senile yet!:confused::confused:

So...what are we looking at for today? How much fv for Friday?

Not much. It's a touch call today. The dollar fell significantly this afternoon, but was probably not enough to cancel the -FV. I'm betting that Barclay will be very conservative.

We might see a -14 cents FV.

Plus today's 8 cents = -6 cents total.

I'm now wishing I had gone to the I fund for tomorrow.:D

Thanks for the explanation 350. Wish you were in the I fund with me. Looks like your F fund move paid off today. Congrats!

350,
Today before noon I decided to sell - sold both 75%I (and 25%S) - went 100%G! Wondering what damage to expect for the 75%I part (was 138K). I was concerned, but, oh man!:worried:

If I'm right about the -FV, then your 75I should be alright.

350,
Thanks, that's a relief! -Speculating that tomorrow might not a good buy-in day (into "I") - because USMs might not recover that quick to help "pull" along OSMs). But say, if USMs do pull off a big rebound, or say Monday, might "I" again be a worthy purchase?
--Its just that I like the way the "I"charts look, e.g., SloSTO, MACD, Wm%R (compared to C&S right now).
Of course, the key may be the USM's influence, that may be the real determinant.
Very Respectfully,

Good news I funders!

NO -FV!

Up 8 cents today.

I posted earlier that Barclay would be very conservative today and also, the falling dollar might cancel out the -FV. Well, it apparently did.:)

Respectively, on 12/21 we had a UV of 0.60% and on 12/24 an UV of 0.22%.
On 12/27 we had an UV of -0.39%. According to the way I do math, we had a UV of +0.4% to correct.
Today, we no UV. Where did the 0.4% go?

Your math was wrong. The I fund became even yesterday.

On 24-Dec-07, a $ 2.00 Dividend was paid on the iShares MSCI EAFE Index (EFA). This caused that index to drop from 80.4 to 78.4 from the close on the 21st and the open on the 24th.
