I think this is a pure Santa Claus rally. I didn't expect it. Rimm did report very good earnings. I do think we will get a some pull back on Monday. CNBC is really hooping it a with as much good news as they can including having Jim Cramer on there this morning. I'm going to stay in CP mode today.:)

But while looking at this issue, we also found this little nugget - there was a strong correlation between the return on the day of expiration (Friday) and the return on the day after (Monday). When Friday was down, Monday tended to also be down, and vice-versa.

Personally, I remained 75I, & added 25S today (COB) -and expect to hold here thru Jan2 (at least).
 
As a relative newcomer to surfing Talk and trading the TSP (1 year basically of listening and learning, trading and learning, and learning some more), I wanted to enter this discussion long enough anyway for now to pass on my sincere gratitude for the education you provide. All you guys are a class act in my opinion….and you deserve special thanks from me and all the other folks out hear who listen-in, be it daily or just occasionally. We no doubt will continue to benefit from your wisdom, humor, and perspective.

anyone see the Najarian bros talking about anticipated options acitivity for January???

they said it will be double the volatility we're seeing now. Something to that effect. In that same episode, someone else was saying China should surge bigtime after coming off a 10% correction. I'll see if I still have that on DVR and post exactly what they were saying.
