"Uniformity for all". Bread and circuses.RFID.....Radio Frequency Identification..."The Mark of the beast"."Control the herd".......Mexican-Canadian highway(there will be few east west crossings, there will be no uncontrolled crossings: this thing is to be a 30 mile wide corridor). Price and availabilty of gas. You can't control a highly mobile population. So you reduce mobility by making it economically not feasible. Ok..so I go too far. I'll stop.

Yup, I just saw that. That came well after 4:20 est. right? Or maybe the EFA chart was just slower than usual.

+FV is a go.
I was following the EFA on my Ameritrade account and it was near that level before the close. It does not matter to me because Friday, I am in the I Fund. The I is way overdue for a huge pop. BTW nice job on the markets. The forum is lucky to have you. Keep up the great work.

The Nikkei 225 is currently sitting above very strong support at 15000. It has already bounced on it a few times this week. As you can see from the chart, it's way oversold and due for an explosive rally. I'm thinking about switching to 100% I fund tomorrow and stay there until after Xmas. The dollar is also overbought.

Question: TSP will be closed on Tuesday, but what about Monday? I think they will be closed.

S&P500 went up 0.7% between 1135AMET and closing. EFA went up at least 0.4% during that time.

Look at the closing price of the EFA. There was a big spike in the last 2 minutes of trading. That was what we were talking about. If you include the spike, it was a change of .662%.

Maybe Barclay's has stopped the FV. Wonder if that is where they were getting that participants were losing 1.2 milliion in interest while waiting for the actual trades??

Keep in mind, Japan's markets will be closed on Monday- Emperor's Birthday.

God Bless:)

No, the dollar was up in the afternoon so they went conservative and used the Dow, which didn't change enough.

If you are referring to Barclay losing money from our trades, you might be right. That might actually be the real reason the TSP board is doing what they are doing. They might be reading this so we have to be careful. But I will say this. No way are they smart enough to understand the whole process with FV and the cost associated with it. The TSP board must be getting their info from Barclay. Perhaps Barclay is just trying to protect their bonuses.:D

That would not suprise me. May be time for a new contract or a new broker. One that perferably is not in financial trouble. :)

Ok, the 50% retracement level become a brick wall. I'm now having doubts about the Santa's rally continuing through next Wednesday. Japan will close on Monday and that is not good. We need them to carry the momentum on Sunday night/Monday morning.

IS TSP OPEN ON MONDAY?????

:)

The Thrift Savings Plan will be closed on Tuesday, December 25th, in observance of Christmas Day. Transactions that would have been processed Tuesday night (December 25th) will be processed Wednesday night (December 26th), at Wednesday's closing share prices.

I think TSP will be open. Nothing on their website except the notice for Tuesday. They would have something by now if they were going to be closed.
