Hey, well let's hope the goonies don't run him off! I'm taking names, and any goonies that run off 12% will be dismissed on the spot (remember the movie Big Business, Bette Midler said "I'll fire you all on the spot.")

Flavor of the month GG?

Nikkei will be fun to watch tonight. Great week for the I Fund. Thursday will have a carryover from today based on the OSMs unable to react at full stream today based on the closing time. Went to the I for tomorrow!!:)

Guesstimate on the FV.... Hmmmm.....

My best guestimate would be FV +$0.40. I think that this is where the market is currently. If I was at Barclays, I'd probably put out a number lower than that like a FV + $0.35. A lot happened after 1 pm.

Japan makes this guess a little tougher.

Any early estimates on the FV?

The last time I checked the FV, Barclay did it from 12:00 PM instead of 1:00 PM. If they did it from 12:00 PM, the FV is probably +.40 cents. If they did it from 1:00 PM, the FV is probably +.35 cents. Either way, it's a win-win situation.

You add up the I-fund's price today of +.06 cents plus FV, and we get +.41 cents or +.46 cents for the I-fund. :)

I didn't even add the change in USD$ in this calc. Don't know if they would.

This is a tea leaf
http://biz.yahoo.com/ap/070321/earns_fedex.html?.v=7 When shipping slows down, you know the consumer is not spending. Shipping is a great way to see the economy, a telling-tale to say the least. Less spending means lower quarterly numbers/profits for companies when they report. Fed need to nip that in the butt and become more dovish.

posted this morning and the Fed did become a tad more dovish. This is good for the Yen and Euro for now. But next week different story.
