what was the final estimate before the FV

I think it's -.54 cents, but with FV correction of +.23 (from yesterday) we should be down about -.31 cents for the I-fund.

We're looking at +.15 cents FV right now, so we still have a long ways to go to recoup! :)

In any event, it's still a heck of a positive comeback for your tracker to miss only by such small amount!

I think we're down -.31 cents for today on the I-fund, so if we get a +.30 cents FV today, we'd be about even. :)

2:50 est., went down to +.25 cents FV. :(

I just thought I'd add that I don't think the FV if there is one will be that big. I'd say the chances of an FV are 50/50 right now and if one does occur it would be about +$0.10 plus the +$0.23 FV correction or plus $0.33. I have the days move at about -$0.53. That would put it at -$0.20. Still much better than it looked this morning.

I'd think the indexes need to close moving up to get the extra FV.

This rally within the last two hours is very suspicious. As 12%ayear suggested in his talk thread, it smells of a short covering squeeze. Perhaps it was initiated by the PPT through program trading. IMO, somebody is worried about a major meltdown. Just look at what the USD/YEN did late last night and about two hours ago. The bounce at 116.20 and 116.10, respectively, made absolutely no sense, either technically or fundamentally.

Sure , the bounce at 116.10, 2 hours ago, coincided with the USM indices touching their 200 day EMAs, but if USD/YEN had continued downward, the DOW would still be 100 points down or worst. IMHO, it appears that the markets are being manipulated at the moment. When a sub-prime lender(Accreditted Lending) is up 60% for the day and homebuilders stocks are also rebounding, something is fishy. People can't be that dumb, or can they?

I've tried the adjustment on the daylight savings time and seen the calculations right for a couple of days. If I'm wrong today then maybe I should move it back 15 minutes.

Anyways, as of 3:15, we're back to +.30 cents FV. :)

MSCI EAFE = -2.458% or -.54 cents. We're down -.31 cents for the I-fund.
