Today smells like a short-squeeze. The hedge fund love days like today. Everyone is negative and bears are shorting away.Next thing you know a squeeze forces the bears to cover. <<<< earlier post .......... now>>>>> This will force a rally. Nice comeback....remember the DJIA was down over 100....This will incourage Nikkei and Europe to pop...short-term oversold.

Final FV estimate is +.35 cents or +.32 cents (if we include the dollar moving up some).

The important thing is that the C, S and I fund (hopefully) turned positive for the day. :)

Final Estimated results>>>

So,It seems that the I fund would close down -.19 or-.865% ...is that correct? ty

G--
F-.02
C+.10
S+.08
I-.16 finished at $22.04 I think this evens it up right. Corrected yesterdays FV and nothing applied today?

Sorry for the "F"up on S fund yesterday.

Dang, the last two days, when I calculated the FV from 1:00 to close of market, it was fine.

Today, when I calculated the FV from 1:00 to close of market, it was off by 20 cents.

But, if I calculated the FV from 12:00 to close of market, I get the right amount of FV for today (-.15 cents).

So, what time are they calculating from 1:00 or 12:00? :(

Did they forget about the one hour daylight savings time?

LOL! Welcome to my world.....:D

Duh! I know that! Just throwing something out. Usually when things are done globally they use one time reference. I know, I know!!!

The U.S. and Asian markets continue to play tag - you were up so I'll be up. You were down so we're going down. Nikkei up 200+.

I feel your pain! I had a couple of volatile days to make the estimates. Monday was right on the nose, but yesterday and today were a b*tch! :o

Update: Of the top Decile last week, looks like several remain in the I fund:

Safety
Swamp
Coptor
50 Mercury

With Faustus in at 50%, and Russell in at 25%.

Beavis and Butthead....er, no make that Beavis and Ebbenflow bailed to G.

(a hushed silence)

Will their move pay off, or will those who stuck it out another day reap the reward?

Speaking of sticking it out, can we hear from Breyer? Woo Hoo, Bryer!

 They're making it tougher on you, 350z. With Yahoo not giving up-to-date quotes anymore, daylight savings time...hmmm.

Jayhawker, good thing we're only subbing or we'd end up being run out of town. :cheesy:

I did an IFT with 65% I , 35% G effective at COB March 14. TSP sent me the confirming email about 7 hours after COB.

We were at 100% G since February 14.

My I price was $22.04
I was shocked to see a new +FV of $.15, though I fully expected the matching $.23 from the day before.

The new +FV appears to cost me alot. My take is that I get surcharged twice this +FV, since tomorrow it will lower I. Do I have this right? My loss is (my number of shares) 1114 x $.30 !

I have read the forum posts about FV ... I hope I have a wrong conception -- convince me that entering today is not a mistake.

I think the market timing is good: equities are due to bounce up, but the Euro/Dollar is not favorable near term. I think E/D might drop some in the near term. I've seen forecasts that E/D is headed to 141 by the end of the year so I'm not afraid of any near term drop in Euro.

This is my first post.
