I knew better than to stay in (I) after last May.

Sure feels good to be on the pad.

Now, I'll know better NOT to enter the market w/in a few days after a sell-off like I did last Friday.

What makes you think it's going to stop at 10%? Something tells me this is not a normal correction.

I think it's a perfectly normal correction, with the one exception of the approaching major issues with sub-prime mortgages. Other than that one factor, nothing really has changed in our economy, and this is probably just a normal 10% correction.

The thing that has you spooked is that it has been so long since the last correction.

Just remember this-

Markets go up,
Markets go down.
The trick is knowing your way all around.

The trend, it is your friend.
Out when it's down, back in when it's up.
And the dollars will always overflow in your cup.

Hey, a new TSP talk poll is posted on the homepage.

today's question is:
How large of a pullback from the peak will we see?

Go vote!

We are now looking at the (I) price reaching back to early December levels of $21.50+.

Looking for it to drop below $21.00 by Tuesday???

And that's where we disagree. I think it's more than sub-prime mortgages and we will soon learn that the economy is in trouble.
