The quick vote on CNN's home page has this question:

Do you expect another rocky week on Wall Street?

It's currently:

68% Bears

32% Bulls

This may indicate a "bounce" sometime during the week.

Again, don't get caught up in the bounce thinking it's an "all clear" because it may not be.

I'm thinking of heading to (F) until the dust has settled.

What time do the Japan markets open at their time? I know the time difference from here, just need to know when the fun starts. LOL

How does this Yen work looking at the chart?

When it goes North on the chart is it bad for the I Fund?

When it goes South on the chart is it good for the I Fund?

"Today is going to hurt," said Shinji Igarashi, equity manager at the sales department of Chuo Securities.
"There really aren't any reasons to buy at all ... exporters and high-tech stocks are likely to come under pressure because of the stronger yen."

The yen <JPY=> hit a three-month high against the dollar on Monday morning in Tokyo. A stronger yen is a negative for exporters as it eats into profits when earnings from abroad are brought home.

If you're looking at the USD/YEN chart, when it goes south, it's good for the I fund. The problem is when it goes south too fast and too much in a very short amount of time, like what it has been doing for the last week or so.

Ok, thanks 350z..........Just wanted to get it clear with myself. I got the Japan open time by looking at the Nikkei site. I figured it was around 9am Just was not sure yet with that.

Japan markets now and US tomorrow should get interesting.

In all seriousness, this is where I was last May.

Not a good feeling...

Rod,

Remember the old days when you had to wait a month to move your money in TSP.

Now that was a very bad feeling my friend!!!!

up+3.21% for year so I am willing to take a risk at these levels

I wish the best to you!

I believe after this whole thing is over with, (I) is gonna be a bargain buy!

Perhaps around $20.00 +/-

Then ride the sucker up 15%+ to year end!
