Re: 350Z's I Fund Thread-Feb07

Let's wait and see how the USM reacts to the ecomonic news which should be out by 1000.

Man, anything can change... and quickly!

Stay on your toes.

Thank you Jesus!:D

Re: 350Z's I Fund Thread-Feb07

The $$$ is still green, though... and the EFA is down over 2%.

This is going to be an interesting day, to say the least!

Re: 350Z's I Fund Thread-Feb07

We are in need of some precise estimates from our estimate gurus this morning.

Bring it on boys...

I am staying in the I for tomorrow

too many people bailing out, imo. The Asian Markets and Europe Markets are way oversold

Re: 350Z's I Fund Thread-Feb07

I have a feeling it's going to get much worst. A bounce this afternoon or tomorrow will be sold. The bottom is not even close. I was watching the Shanghai index last night and it was very disturbing. They were selling every bounce with heavy volume compared to buy volumes. The drop in the futures and the OSM markets this morning coincided with the sharp rise in the Yen. More Yen carry trades are unwinding.

This is similar to May, except that todays' traders seemed to have learned a lesson from May, and are now selling earlier. They don't want to get caught as the yen carry trade completely unwinds. The USD/YEN is now down 3.5% since last Friday. Back in May, it fell to around 6% prior to the sell-off in Japan.

Heck, I'm May's Poster Child for TSP Talk!

So, ya! ABSOLUTELY TRUE 350Z!

Re: 350Z's I Fund Thread-Feb07

I do believe you 350, you were right on on the close yesterday, impressive, I only use my #'s and hopefully make a good guess where it will close. Good example was the Feb 27th, my guess was that the I fund would lose ground and it gained. As for predicting the I fund on a daily basis, I can't do that. My calculations only work for me when I have the I fund over or under the EFA by more than 10 pts.

No. The I fund is no longer owed any money. It is square now.

I still have the I fund at a +5 pts,

My feeling for today is that the I fund will lose the +5 pts and be in the negatives at close today.

Ok then.

Early estimate: Down 1.151% or 26 cents.

Yahoo charts is acting goofy and about 30 minutes behind some times so I can't guarantee accuracy today.

My change w/o any FV- not that we are expecting one, is down .28

That's a 10:04 reading 350Z.

Re: 350Z's I Fund Thread-Feb07

Today may turn out to be a FV play. Tank this morning and rebound after lunch.

Crossing fingers

You might be right. The good ISM report might temporary reverse their thinking and we could have a huge short covering rally. With not much news tomorrow, the dollar might rise since it's oversold, against the Yen.

Bernacke is speaking tomorrow so we might get another "everything is doing well", tomorrow. We might get another dead cat bounce tomorrow.

I'm leaning toward the C fund(big caps).
