But isn't that 20¢ already factored into today's price?
yes, however;there was supposed to be a +.40fv according to EBBY's estimate. They only gave us +.20FV and then not pay out the extra +.20 on that pop in the afternoon.

Yes, the Nikkei will kick ass on Sunday night and the dollar is now headed back down.:)

I totally agree. I had to make a decision early this morning and as you said I knew USM's had to have a good day by the close. 'Nice call by the way 200+' Gamble ? Yes!, Risk/Reward, Very good I would say!

So far so good.

I will use this as a quick trade no matter which way we go. I am comfortable with 50% I, but I think I should have gone 100%. It was to early in the morning for me to go all in. But I will take what we get!

In case anyone missed it- there was a wonderful discussion this morning over in another thread about the difference between the Fed cutting the Window Rate (which they did), and the Discount Rate (which they did NOT).

If you haven't read that discussion, it's well worth stopping what you are doing now, and reading this thread to the end.

I would pay particular attention to message number 87 and 88, so you understand the difference between "window rate" and "discount rate".

I didn't know this, and learned something this morning.

Thank you ATCJEFF and SHOWME for this information, especially your banter back and forth, because I learned a lot this morning.

Thanks for the kind words...

Frankly, a Nikkie retest below 15,000 would be a delight and set the pattern strength for a run on 21,000 sometime in 2008.

G 12.07 even
F 11.41 -.01 -0.09%
C 16.19 +.39 +2.47%
S 19.36 +.45 +2.38%
I 22.73 +.25 +1.11%

We're in the money! It looks like Barclays overcompensated today for yesterday's conservative FV. :)

Ebby?

Will this negatively affect us on Monday if the Market Moves Up marginally or is flat?

Buda

We'd probably cover the FV correction with the Asian markets alone. I wouldn't worry about it. Think green, buda. :)

I see. That's amazing how I managed to be on the wrong end of one FV three days in a row.

Did anyone happen to notice the trading range for HSI on Friday. I woke up between 4 - 5 am and noticed it was down almost 13 hundred points, went back to sleep and when I got back up is was back up to the -285 range. I have waited for someone to mention it, or for the TV people to allude to it. So far, not a word. Even Jim Cramer only talked about Japan. Was this an error? Look at the trading range below and you decide.

Does China have the same type of put/call option as USM? Is that when Fed decided to act realizing what was about to happen to our markets?
