People make me laugh, the friggin I FUND is on sale at these levels and will explode to the upside. It is down @8% in 7 trading days. I am staying fully invested in the I FUND all next week.

I'm with ya now 12. What a decision. It was tough jumping onboard today.

I would have agreed had you said the rest of the year.

Next week the I fund will either rock higher or tank big, no in between. Next week Japan will either crash down or explode up ( I believe the later; the Fed has sent out a token rescue signal).

If anyone's interested, I bought a big bunch of I-fund on sale about a week ago that I'm willing to unload at cost. :notrust: What, no takers?

In case anyone missed it- there was a wonderful discussion this morning over in another thread about the difference between the Fed cutting the Window Rate (which they did), and the Discount Rate (which they did NOT).

If you haven't read that discussion, it's well worth stopping what you are doing now, and reading this thread to the end.

I would pay particular attention to message number 87 and 88, so you understand the difference between "window rate" and "discount rate".

I didn't know this, and learned something this morning.

Thank you ATCJEFF and SHOWME for this information, especially your banter back and forth, because I learned a lot this morning.

THE I fund is now in 3rd place in terms of returns for the year. The I Fund got screwed 2 days in a row. Yesterday and today with the Japanese Market. I see some great days ahead though.Looking at some +fv NIKKEI is down 19% since JUly12

Not sure if we'll get +FV today.

The dollar is up enough for a -4 cent loss.

If they use the EFA, it's very close. I have the change at .53% or 12 cents +FV. With the dollar up, there might not be a +FV.

If they use the Dow, it'll be 12 cents +FV.

If they use the C fund, it'll be 17 cents +FV.

they might throw us double that because of yesterday. Barclay heldout yesterday about .20 cents..

I hope they go home early like they usually do on Fridays. :D

Even if they gig us, it won't matter. We're set up beautifully for Monday. :)
