350Z's 2007 I Fund Thread

Umm, just a week or so ago I decided to "play" the ebbchart. As I read it, be out on Thursday. Seems either I read it wrong, or some didn't (fortunately) follow its pattern. Killer day, to bad I was in G fund.
Is Friday the 13th as mystic in Europe as it is over here? Can't complain too much, got me out of this weeks drop on a high, but man of man, would I would have liked to been in it today

I get updates sometime around 1 to 2 am in the morning. Is that the normal time, or is my mail server slow?

Just returned from Holland a couple of weeks ago, after the trip, my interest in the I fund grew

That +fv is going to weigh heavy on the I Fund tomorrow. Right out of the gate you need the I Fund to make .99% or 1% to break even for the day. Also, factor in the US Dollar possibling rebounding and you have problems. Oy Vey, I hope it all works out for those who are in the I Fund for Friday. Good Luck!! I hope everyone always makes money,trust me.

This is what I mean....Change......15.620 .....%... Change...0.674 after that -FV= a net loss of .33% for the day thus far. No just thing as a no brainer. The only way to play the I Fund for the following day is when a rally in the USMs peaks before noon. So the following day, there is no negative fair value action . But you have to guess. Good Luck

Agreed. Still, if there is a big rally in the USMs prior to the noon TSP deadline, the chances of a successful no brainer play are increased. After the big run-up in the morning, you still have to see an additional 0.5% run-up in the afternoon to usually trigger the FV (which doesn't happen all that often...yesterday was an unusual day). Therefore, the no brainer is still a good investment strategy, in my opinion. Others may disagree.

I agree with you. I just don't see a 1% increase today as suggested earlier. That really makes it tricky for Monday. The Ebbchart is all in for Monday and he's been smelling like a rose timing the market like a sniper!! Thanks Ebb. I'm tempted to go back in.....desitions, desitions....any comments?

I am showing an "up +.20 cents" right now. (8:30 am edt).

Since we got a +.22 cent FV yesterday, am I correct in saying that that means we are actually down -.02 cents right now?


(This week's FV's have messed me up bad).

Yes

I know the feeling. A few weeks ago, I got hit 3-4 times in one week, either from a FV or a lack of a FV.

Right now, as of 12:08p.m. EDT, the "I" is showing up +0.667%, or + 0.17 cents.

Now take off the .22 cents for FV from last night, and you are looking at:

a minus (-0.05) cent decline for the day.


(And Ebbchart says to be in "G" today, and to go to "I" for monday's action.

By the way- Ebb- Do you want a twist of lemon in that?).
