Re: I see a rally tomorrow, today seemed like a buying

,quote=GeorgiaGal;79909]12, there are lots here still in c and s.....so do you think we should jump out tomorrow before noon, but only if there is a little bounce?

I am scared to jump out, and scared to stay! I think I stayed in during May last yea r and came out okay, but this seems different. It's almost like people jumping from windows! GeorgiaGal ................................... G.G., I am thinking of going into the I Fund before 12 today based on a rebound in the Asian Markets tonight,IMO. I went 100% S yesterday for today. IMO of course Good Luck today and I hope the entire room makes $$$, hate to see unhappy campers.:) The US dollar is gaining ground today, so Its a perect set-up to enter the I for tomorrow, because the pop in the dollar should be out of the way today, possibly dipping tomorrow and a Green Asian Market and Europe Market will pop the I Fund.Thursday......ok my 2 cents

Re: I see a rally tomorrow, today seemed like a buying

Thank you. It's a fine tool. I used to see delayed currency changes with percentage gains/losses at Bloomberg's website, but this is a great improvement in getting fresh info!

yes it is

Re: 350Z's I Fund Thread-Feb07

Question for this morning:

Is there any clear consenus concerning the dollars (USD) impact on the I Fund for tomorrow? Dollar up or down and how much? Need to figure out whether to go 100% S or I tonight.

In advance, thanks for the assist! :D

Re: 350Z's I Fund Thread-Feb07

I fund does sound like a great idea for an IFT for tomorrow, but what do y'all think about the chance of a +FV today in the I fund resulting in a FV correction tomorrow?

Also what are the chances of the FV correction from yesterday being held off today and added tomorrow? Theres seems to be a lot of FV balls up in there, and seem complicated on when to catch them, since they're large FVs could they overshadow any potential gains in the OSMs?

Waiting for the blessing for the Fed. to assure

markets. Very shaky markets. I still think we rally. we will see;)

Re: 350Z's I Fund Thread-Feb07

As it stands right now the I fund is owed +.39 cents. So if everything is flatlined then theoretically I fund will "gain" 39 cents today. This FV situation has me intrigued. Has there ever been back to back days of FV? If I was in the I today I would stay in to get my money back they "took" yesterday. It just seems that if nothing unusual happens today that a +.39 correction is too big for 1 day. I have to keep telling myself that the reason for having FV's is to eliminate anyone having an unfair advantage.

Remember if you are in the I fund today, you have .39 cents coming your way eventually.

350z's early estimate will help with the calculation.

This simply reinforces what we've been saying... don't freak out if you are in (I), at least not yet!:D

Re: 350Z's I Fund Thread-Feb07

All economic data came in weak as I expected but the market is having a dead cat bounce.

GDP was revised down from 3.5% to 2.2%.
CHI Chicago PMI came in lower than previous, below 50 again, at 47
New home sales showed the biggest decline in 13 years.

When PMI and ISM consistently stays below 50 it's signaling a recession. But buyers don't seem to be concern about a recession right now as they think the market is a bargain. And Just my luck, bond traders are taking profit.

Re: ty 350z....so we are looking at a loss

Me too. I can't resist.

I believe this could be a profitable SHORT TIME play IF USM hold today... that's the "gamble".

IN for Thurs... and out for Fri or at the very latest COB Fri, being in safe haven by Monday.
