Re: ty 350z....so we are looking at a loss

I believe this could be a profitable SHORT TIME play IF USM hold today... that's the "gamble".

IN for Thurs... and out for Fri or at the very latest COB Fri, being in safe haven by Monday.
Agree 100% on that comment

Re: 350Z's I Fund Thread-Feb07

If it was just a regular type day yesterday, then I would have to call a move to the I today a no-brainer. I think I'm going with it. I am extremely qualified as far as the term goes.

Re: 350Z's I Fund Thread-Feb07

Yeah. I see it the same way. 100% I for tomorrow to play off the dead-cat bounce and then back out at COB. (Crosses fingers) :embarrest:

Then I am probably going to wait in the G fund for a new long-term trend to develop. :suspicious:

of @.26%? 350z, I am going 100% in I Fund for Thursday..

I'm also going 100% I.:D

My plan also was in tomorrow and over to G for Friday. I want to be out of the market over the weekend and Monday. May move to the F for Monday. Will wait and make that decision FridaY.

Re: 350Z's I Fund Thread-Feb07

Heads up to everyone- tsp.gov has the following message posted:

Special Notice for February 28, 2007: Due to an extremely heavy volume of inquiries, you may experience problems accessing your TSP account. We recommend that you try again later.

It took me several tries to get my transfer request through, so I would reccomend not waiting until the deadline.

Guess yesterdays action got a lot of people to pay more attention to their account.

Re: 350Z's I Fund Thread-Feb07

The I fund did not lose enough yesterday, I predict that no matter what the EFA does the I fund will lose groung today.

Re: 350Z's I Fund Thread-Feb07

Well, I went to the I fund like everybody else. If this morning's bounce was a dead cat bounce then it will crash again this afternoon or tomorrow. The dollar will be down tomorrow. If the USM crashes this afternoon, we might get another -FV or a hold off on yesterdays'.

GL to us!

Re: 350Z's I Fund Thread-Feb07

Perhaps he feels he needs to bandage the wounds that Greenspan inflicted.

He did say that there could be strengthening near mid-year due to housing coming out of its slump.

For those who don't have access to CNBC. Ben's quotes:

"Feds still examining the idea of inflation targeting"

"No reason for Japan or China to sell-off US debt"

"No single trigger for Tueday's stock market decline"

"Markets seem to be working well and normally"
