Those buying into the I fund tomorrow will have the corrected amount from today's -FV plus a realistic chance of an intraday bounce, especially if it gaps down to retest the lows. A lot of ifs. Good luck to all.

Just trying to guess when to jump back in, Friday would have been good but didn't look right at the time. I'm 100% I for tomorrow

Well, that's going to leave a mark. After starting the day on a positive note, yet another mortgage company threatens to go belly-up and the Dow ends up down nearly 150 points.

I guess I'll get my wish about a delayed recovery in the markets -- assuming they start to recover sometime soon in any case.

Any idea about a fv for today? Going by the Dow, I'd think so...

IMO, AHM is done. They will soon file bankruptcy. The scary part is that they maily dealt with Alt-A and not sub-prime.

I know this section of the board is for the I-fund, but IMHO those who said the credit crunch would be minor or soon pass are rapidly being proven wrong.

I could see continued problems here as helping the I-fund overall, though. Not that I wish the US economy ill...

Japan will drop at least 2% IMO. We need the USMs to lead the way on this one. Futures are all red. Looking for a bounce tomorrow. Aug 1..10:00 AM...ISM ..Index..Jul-56.555.556.0-Aug 1...10:00... AM...Pending Home SalesJun---0.6%-3.5%-Aug 1..10:30 AM..Crude Inventories07/27-NANA-1103K

The core PCE has been showing readings of up 0.1 for the last four months - it seems contained and the Fed will jump the gun and reduce rates without a word. That's how they really work the markets.

Big - UFV tonight
