Based on yesterdays close with the USMs, you will see the OSMs sell-off Monday. They need the USMs to take the lead Monday. Also with the jitters about the London car bomb story will not help. IMO,Monday, you will see the USMs take the lead. DJIA is overdue to stage a pop. This will help next week,IMO to our benefit........LOW VOLUME. Shorts will get squeezed.

Regrettably and sadly, the airport in Glasgow, Scotland was hit by terrorists a couple of hours ago. Ongoing news events at CNN, FOX, etc. These are sad events which I hope can be contained throughout the free world. My prayers to all affected, and my best wishes to the authorities so that they may contain any spread in terrorist activities.

Truly sad and it shows that these terrorist will not stop. They were attacking us years prior to 911 and would have continued even if 911 did not happen.

SAN FRANCISCO (MarketWatch) -- A large flaming vehicle identified as an SUV driven at around 30 miles per hour crashed into Glasgow's main airport terminal Saturday.
The apparently deliberate attack on Scotland's largest airport didn't cause any injuries, according to initial reports right after the incident.
Authorities said the fire and resulting damage involved in the crash had caused chaos in the airport and could've seriously injured scores of people. The vehicle involved was identified by witnesses as a Jeep Cherokee.
Initial reports indicated it had exploded and caught fire after ramming past glass doors and the terminal's main entrance. But some witnesses later speculated the vehicle had been on fire entering the airport and said no explosion took place.
Scottish officials said that two men had been arrested and that the airport was closed. Investigators said immediately afterwards that they were uncertain if the latest car explosion was terrorist-related. It came a day after police foiled a car bombing attempt in London that was linked to terrorists.

Britain raises its security alert level to critical -- the highest level -- indicating terror

Almost all of today's gains so far are a result of a falling dollar. I expected a rush to dollar security as a result of the UK terrorist activity. OSM has begun to turn around and head up following the USM open. I have to wonder if 12% isn't correct and the DX reverses tommorrow. There may still be follow through following USM but it could be dragging a big anchor -- dollar bounce. I don't think I'll put any money into I-fund trying to catch the follow this time.

What does this mean, and what are the implications for our TSP funds? For those of us transactionally challenged Wall Street outsiders, it sounds like a really gross Bart Simpson prank.

If someone is short the market, they think that the market will go down. If the market doesn't go down, that begins to squeeze the person that is short. If the market continues upward, further squeezing the short, the short may throw in the towel, and buy back the shares they shorted.

Short covering, or buying back, can serve to send the overall market higher.

So, if the overall market goes higher, the TSP funds like C, S and I would also go higher.

How should we be planning to take advantage of the closed markets here tomorrow afternoon and Wednesday while the OSMs are all presumable open?

Im planning on moving into I tomorrow to take advantage of the holiday. Only thing that I am concerned with right now is the direction of the dollar. If it continues to hang low tomorrow, then I may reconsider.
