Today's Fed news predictions? .........No change in rates with a light sugar coating of the Sub-prime mortgage problem. Add a side dish of Shanghai's volatility and how we can eventually overcome any impact they have on us and we have our Fedspeak for this round. 3 course meal. For dessert maybe "some inflation could be a major factor on the horizon but is currently under control and not foreseen has an immediate threat."

Looks like a perfect setup for a +FV. I'll take what I can get today and head for safety. If the Fed is hawkish than it's going to be all down hill for a while any way.

GM, I went to the C Fund today for Monday. I have a feeling that the I FUND will have a +fv today, so I am gambling that Monday we see a -fv. The C fund feels right for Monday,it is also a laggard. Currently,the I fund is flat. However;I think the markets will rally this afternoon.The I-Phone comes out,RIMM came out with kickass earnings,and the FED news will be absorded into the marketplace. Its too early to know if we will get a FV today. The markets will have to move 1/2 of a percent or more, one direction or another, after 12 noon EST before a FV is applied.
