350zCommtech's Account Talk

Bonds are strong again. I hope this is just a throw-under. Hank and Ben tanked the market tagged-team style. Perhaps are clue today is that GS is strong.

The bond market continues to get stronger, which is worrisome. The Hank and Ben sell-off came on lower volume, taking the market out of overbought. The Yen is saying buy. My guess is that once the dog and pony show ends, the rally will get legs. The Yen suggest the market will finish strong and the Nikkei will be rocking tonight. Headline CPI tomorrow will be down. The FOMC minutes will be a non-issue.

Sounds good. I just hope we do not see a 10% up day. Spread it out over a few days.

Yen needs to hold..........:suspicious:. If the Nikkei gets too strong might need some shorts for the early morning!

That is still a possibility. I'm just talking about tomorrow and the day after. The market needs to break 840 for the USD/YEN to take a run at 90.
Looks like the steam is running out this afternoon. I keyed in some positions and set some higher percentage takes this week. The swap is negative for both sides (long and short).

I may even go to the AUD/JPY for some carry this week. We'll see tho'.

.... ummm ..... please tell me that there is a possibility that piercing 840 is a headfake ... :worried:

838 to be exact. The shorts are covering and we're back over it. Need to close above it.

Why would anybody be short down here is beyond me.
Quicker than me once again 350Z:nuts:

Shorties are looking for pennies!!!!!

If they short again on Thursday, Friday could be interesting. I also hedge this position, but only to this level. If this thing really did drop, I'd be a rich yen holder!!!!!

That time will come. My bet is not this week nor next week. I can't see it happening during Thanksgiving. The USD/YEN has the tendency to rise during Thanksgiving.

An 860-870 close today would be awesome!:)

859.09 SPX and S&P futures currently at 862.View attachment 5094

Once again the purely "bottom" motivated buys made this market bounce today. When these feeders lose their cash reserve, the bottom will fall out.

I can tell you that these are purely automated speculative purchases and they can't keep buying. We'll test 8100 repeatedly until it fails.

I swear it, I swear it, I swear it.:notrust:

I agree Frixxxx. The shorts are too scared to short the hole(rightfully so) and OPEX intervention helped propel this market green. Baring any really bad news, we are setup for a rocket launch tomorrow.

The USD/YEN will definitely see 90, but not until I transfer back into the G fund.:D
