Touchy, touchy...
Bob is simply pointing out a very important idea around here. It is easy to Monday morning quarterback. We had a few people blow in here like know-it-alls and claim they were Guru's. We actually started the Tally as a put your money where your mouth is, proove it kind of deal. A few of those types have come and gone.
I'm not saying you are comming across like that at all. I am saying that it important for us to be able to evaluate how we are doing for ourselves as well as evaluate how those we are listening to are doing as well.
You've done well since starting here. I hope to see you at the top of the YTD leaderboard in Dec. I personally tend to pay more attention to people who have great returns for 6 months to a year. Occasionally I do notice people who have started off with success when they start posting. (Hats off to Wizard of Oz, Ebbnflow, and Pointman). Hope your the next one.

Their trying to throw you off your game. Don't allow this to happen. Jealousy is heavy burden for someone to carry. They tend to release their frustration on everyone they can. Ignore it. Also you can press the ignore button. Do your thing, the majority of us were not effected by your outburst of joy and if they were effected negatively so be it. Who cares. It made me feel excited that someone was successful. Make the money. That is why your hear.

I see VirginiaBob was making a pun about your personal return, but you did not see the humor in his remark. You are doing a great job and have attracted a following.

No offense intended. Just pointing out that you have a great 2 month return. When comparing apples to apples (using the tracker), that's all that anyone can say. Others have done better during this 2 month period, but that is nothing to be ashamed of, or take offense to, since you are probably in the top 10% for the last 2 months. That is very impressive for a new member.
You have to understand that people that come onto this board (new members) and say they beat every member on this board in a previous year are a dime a dozen and usually don't stick around too long. For example, when you came here on your first post and said you had just under 30% last year, when the highest out of 59 people on the tracker last year had 24%, it's statistically difficult to believe your claim. Not saying that you didn't get that return, just saying that it's hard to believe without being on the tracker.
That said, great 2 month return and I will be watching your moves.

12%... Ignore the jealous and keep up the good work! I've been watching your IFT's as well as the Ebbtracker. I'm close to retirement so I don't bet the farm every time, but 20-30% of my total in the stock funds on a good day will help to make for a more comfortable retirement!
