Right, Flight Plan Man. 12% is not bragging, he is encouraging everybody to do as well. I bet he wouldn't care one little bit if everybody on here followed his moves.

That's the right attitude, because if I earn 20%, and you earn 20%, and Techy earns 20%, and so on, my 20% is still just as good.

I hope he doesn't leave, then I'll have to start thinking again. That could be dangerous.

After a few months of sittin around here and watchin how things go, I think I figured out a game plan: Follow 12%. Quite impressive. Hopefully I can learn something......

I say more power to 12%-anyone making money in this market has some kinda King Hell Mojo working for him.
I follow Ebbnflow and 12% posts among others along with that other guy who always tries to be right and sit tight all the time and never loses money but 'temporarily loans it out' with the intention of getting it back later.

If I came across as bragging not my attention. Sorry gang, its a marathon race not a sprint. I just post my thoughts at the moment. The goal is for everyone to earn the best % for the year. At any rate, the fed meets today and tomorrow. Feeling today is a downday followed by a relief rally on comments for the Fed. The Fed. needs to calm the markets down and only 9 trading days for the quarter. GL with your trades.

The market is behaving like a recovery is on the way on one hand or that a sucker rally is dragging longs into it. With some time, we will find out. Today was a nice day for the eve of the Fed. I was in the G and think it will pay out tonight. I locked profits yesterday and figured that why change it and grab the .008% today. Tomorrow will be fun. Like I mentioned last week when the C Fund was down over 2%, that the Mutual Funds and Co., will be window dressing and buying to look good for the quarter. After today the C Fund is down slightly. I think that the C Fund will have one of those days and beat the I and S Fund and enter into postive territory tomorrow!!

Git-R-Done 12%............With all the insight being given on this site, it is the individual themselves who have to make their moves. Nobody can do it for them. If I am seeing people getting consistant gains by working their TSP and I am not, then it is my fault by not carefully studying what is being said and done here and then taking action in order to produce those positive results.

I can't get results by being lazy. I have to move and accept whatever transpires. Also learn from my mistakes also.

For anyone to be-grudge another individual on this site who is giving it their all in order to make it happen and at the same time help others make it happen also, is not going to get far with that kind of attitude.

There is a wealth of info here at this site and it is being given freely without hesitation on the part of those who have the know how and experience to help those of us who desire to make better gains for ourselves within our TSP account.

I am still blown away by finding this site and what it has to offer for all of us who have the desire to learn from those who continue to give of their time, energy, knowledge and complete unselfishness day in and day out.

It is people like you 12% and many others here that should always feel free to show your excitement about how you are accomplishing what you are setting out to do. It is because of that show of excitement that makes it known to me also that this can be done by all of us if we concentrate our efforts in the right direction.

Here, here! I totally agree with Wolverine. Keep up the good advice and encouragement 12%. I wish I was in your TSP shoes and making such a good return so early in the year. It gives me hope that if I follow you I may be able to do as well, however, I will admit that I am risk adverse and have not taken your advice over the last 3 weeks. Sitting in G. I am thankful that you are letting us know your reasoning, as it is very useful in understanding how this all works. Sitting in G also makes it fun as I watch everyone succeed. Continued good luck/analysis and don't let the bears scare you away from celebrating you triumphs just as they will celebrate theirs.

I guess those figures go by when I started in Feb.2007 My official numbers are 7.65% as of today from Jan. 01 2007. for my personal account. 2 things... When I added the last amount is was 1.10% not 1.09% from the C and the G Fund did not pay out yesterday.
