12%ayear's Account Talk

You can't win every time - besides those fund managers have to be getting disappointed at how often you're getting it right. :toung:

I have no doubt that you will get it back and then some. I'm like a lot of 12% converts on here - I have a lot of appreciation for your insights into the market that you so graciously share. Thanks!

McCain suggests Iran would face the music

Reuters

Washington -- Republican 2008 presidential hopeful John McCain crooned the words "Bomb Iran" to a Beach Boys tune in joking response to a question about any possible U.S. attack over Tehran's suspected nuclear-weapons program.
"That old Beach Boys song, Bomb Iran . . . bomb, bomb, bomb, bomb," the Vietnam War veteran warbled softly to the band's Barbara Ann when he was asked when the United States would send an "airmail message" to Iran. Reuters Also...............................

Oil rises ahead of Nigeria vote, U.S. expiry

http://investing.reuters.co.uk/news...405Z_01_SP225724_RTRUKOC_0_US-MARKETS-OIL.xml Higher oil,Iran, very bullish market, inflationary pressure,CNBC cheerleaders, sluggish real estate, sucker ralliies, sluggish dollar .............I think I will sideline my action and wait.:D Now the focus is 13000....so what? That will be the downfall/correction. Happens all the time....I think I will crawl into my TSP egg and protect my profits.

Today confirms to me that markets are way ahead of themselves. Glad for those who make some capital today. Now is the real tricky part of the game. Like I stated this morning, just a hint of negative news will cause a sell-off. Too many cheerleaders always gives me a hint to do the opposite. CNBC is one of them.

CNBC is just like the Weather Channel, when things are interesting ratings go up. Then they can sell more ads and generate revenue.

I have a strong feeling this time the DJIA will blow through the 13000 because everyone thinks it will not happen. It seems we had our rally the first part of the year rather than the later. The next quarter earnings will be down. I went to the S Fund for Tuesday FWIW.

Posted above yesterday and sure enough..today.... http://biz.yahoo.com/ap/070423/oil_prices.html?.v=13 Oil Prices Rise on Supply Worries .......Anyway,afterhours looking great for the NASDAQ, Texas Instruments tops estimates. This will be great for small-caps tomorrow. My concern is going forward, like I mentioned last week. Mortgage meltdown is hitting auto sales http://money.cnn.com/2007/04/23/new....update.reut/index.htm?postversion=2007042316 Tuesday...Consumer Confidence 8 30am numbers and Existing Home Sales 10am Like I said, we shall see 13000 but then careful.:) :)

Some key earnings this week to watch

Apple Inc Wed. Thursday will bring Microsoft's and ExxonMobil's earnings

Looks good for tomorrow in the I Fund. Today looks like a pause. The markets will bust through the 13000. However;hate to sound like a parrot, MARKETS are way ahead of themselves.
