I was informed some shutdowns were required for maintenance and the timing of the shutdown during the summer demands may spike prices. Sorry I don't have more details. I was feeling reluctant to post the information because I do not want to fan a fire that serves no purpose. So I can only wait with you to see if it has an effect or not. The only positive of higher prices is that it steers the demand for alternatives. We will never do it unless it hurts at the pump, which will trickle down to other items we consume.

Thank you. I plan to try and spin this to my advantage. SUNCOR has a refinery in CO and pumps its own oil from the tar sands in Canada. If refineries in the south are down for maintenance buy companies that have refineries else where. Also T. Boone (the big oil man) said he believes oil will go to $80. There is money to be made, we just need to figure it out.
