DOW was the highest on May 8th (since the apparent bottom)

It then made a "V" formation and went back up almost as high

But the "Powers" in the Universe remembered 12%'s prediction and so it was done

look for some more down side this week 12200s range is very possible. Today's gains will not hold. Shorts will erase gains. Also for next month, I am staying away from small caps and looking at the SP500.

Hi 12%,
I'm trying to calibrate an entry point for the stock funds. Tom posted the SPX seasonality chart the other day. It has indicated as positive the last 2 trading days in May, as well as the 1st 5 trading days in June. On the other hand, you mentioned yesterday that you'll probably IFT on June 1, perhaps going into the C fund and avoiding the small caps. Today, the durable goods numbers came out at -.5, better than the -1.5% consensus. I am aware that as you just noted, today we will probably get a buy and drop later.

I have not done any IFTs in May. If I consider Tom's possible entry in the last days of May, I would enter the C fund in May, wait for positive June seasonality to kick-in and I would still have 2 unused IFTs available for June. If we were to get a drop today, I would be buying C fund shares at a lower price. What do you think? Others' opinions are equally welcome. Tia.
P.S. Crude oil prices appear to be dropping. This should be good at least for a short-term trade ....

Here is the drop. I am waiting until June to make my new transfer. It might get ugly this week. Looking at the first week of June to make a move then I will lock any profit, go to the F Fund and then G Fund.Protect those profits. Oil has been down the last few days;however we are not out of the woods.

First transaction of the month..went 100% C FUND for 6-4. So far +.08% for the month. Although,the futures are red, I see a rally today. The C FUND is lagging and will be the front runner for the month. I see the DJIA close in the 12500s today and 12600s-12700s for the week.
