Some preliminary results show that I have to pray for the AGG and the (F)
Fund to have substantial differences at 7:30pm, in order to squeek out a
gain for today. The AGG was down -0.55% today and the YTD Overpayment
stands at $0.4527 TSP Cents YTD. Should the Fund Managers keep the
Overpayment exactly the same, a small profit will not be possible as the (F)
Fund share price would drop to $12.6063 or a -0.52% today.

Hey, we're only talking about -$5.33and I'll still beat the (G) Fund for
the week by +0.0586% or +$39.61 more in my account instead of Jail.

Weekly Results: <1%IFT vs.(G)Fund = +.0657% / (G)+.0273%

According to my Account Balances, this week I experienced
additional gains, over and above what I would have had in the
(G) Fund. They translated into .8015 weeks more in four days.
While doing so, I accumulated more shares and rose my %'s
at risk for Monday. Have A Great Weekend ! ;)

Way to go 'bear. I got a lot in G but only 1% each in FCSI. Today I made .01% in G and another .01% in the other funds for a total gain today of .02%. At this rate, life sucks. Next week I try the <1%er.

Posted on my page also. Another use of <1% IFTs:

Today I made a rebalance to my allocation. Got out of F and used the <1% to up C/S and move a little out of I. I fund is under performing IMO. My last IFT was 30G/20F/15C/15S/20I.

My actuals percentages COB Friday were G-29.70%, F-19.70%, C- 15.19%, S- 15.39% and I-20.02%.

New allocation is 50G (Got out of F) 16C/16S and 18I(moved 2% out and 1% into both C & S).

JB45, Glad to see you have the concept under your belt. Although the
percentage levels are greater then I submit to, the method even works
for those who have a goal of keeping larger percentages on the table.

Your scenario is appreciated and will be of great use to other members
who have similiar goals. Thanks A Bunch ! ;)

Thanks, SB. My problem was I wanted to stay 50% in stocks but I don't want to be in I fund. So I guess I will be doing this to lower my I fund exposure and up C/S.

I agree the (I) Fund has been underperforming the (S) Fund. On a MTD
Basis, the (I) Fund is up 9.87% and the (C) Fund is up 9.13%. So the (I)
Fund has been doing alittle better then the (C).

With that said, the (S) will take the lead down, should we see a reversal
of this uptrend. If the market continues up, I see the (C) hanging tough,
but the (I) doing appreciatively better. ;)

Today's market came at no surprise. This was bound to happen in
a day or two and I was hoping for it to wait another 2 or 3 days. Oh
well, today might proove to be a <1%IFT killer, but I believe this is
necessary to reverse coarse and finally get to that 900 level. On the
positive side, (C) should be back down below $10, (S) below $12.00
and (I) below $13.00 per share. My plan is to take what ever comes
with this correction, no matter how low she takes me. Buy cheaper
shares on the way down and hope a reversal will come before the
end of the month. It looks as if I can buy a lot more (F) and bring up
the percentage to 7%. If Tuesday looks "red" I'll lean towards doing
a <1%IFT to up my shares cheaply in the risk funds and add more
money into the (F). Speaking of which, the (F) fund and the (G) both
limited my losses as its Monday (big "G" day) and (F) rallied. Thus,
diversification (even at these levels) worked as it should. ;)

I Do Not have alot of confidence that the market will hold onto their
gains until 4pm, however, I've been more wrong then right and I'll
use that to my advantage. I had to weigh the benefit of increasing
my Risk Funds and I've decided to do just that. The (F) Fund was
increased today to 7% to avoid it dropping to 5.98%. That would
only allow a bump up to 6% come tomorrow, so I did it today.

No <1%IFT Today. I leaned towards doing a "rebalance" <1%IFT
by entering the same %'s into the TSP Website. That would have
locked in some of today's profit and kept my %'s exactly the same
as they are today. But the decision was made to allow a possible
increase of risk for tomorrow as some funds look like they will end
above their whole percent levels that they hold today.

BUT THE CONCLUSION STILL RESULTED IN A FAILED ATTEMPT TO BEAT THE (G) FUND. :mad:

I no longer have the time nor the ability to post on 2 seperate threads.
This thread was created to help others with <1%IFT questions and to
accomodate member's requests for some type of tracking information.
I did the best that I could, but its too much. I will request Tom to close
this thread from new posts, but allow access to it for new members or
those who wish to look back at the information it provided. Manually
updating daily information and conflicts with home priorities have made
this necessary and I hope you all understand, Sorry. :(

SB,

I would suggest that the thread be a read only like you have mentioned but either you or me can clean it up a little and leave the posts that best discribe how the <1% option works. Then if anyone has any questions they can post either you or me for answers. Of course others will add their 2 cents :D. Your thoughts???

Nasa, I think your right. I don't know how that works (Mod or Tom).
But I'll leave it up to them to determine which information stays.
