Thearticle also mentions that some businesses just aren't hiring teenagers any more. Part of the reason for that may be because - impo- is that OSHA has made it very difficult to employ teens, even your own kids in your own family business. Washington State has been particularly hard on a family - I think they have even fined the dad - the details have gotten fuzzy since I read about it over Memorial weekend.
