Looky! http://www.humanevents.com/article.php?id=15497

:blink:I just discovered this because my boss was ranting about it:worried:....His dad told him about it and is mad as hell.... Is this a well kept secret? I haven't had time to pursue it and havent formed an opinion yet:suspicious:..... Some input would be appreciated..

This could be serious stuff!:worried:

:suspicious:Think about what this will do to east-west traffic. There will porbably not be very many places you can cross this thing east to west. Do you think there will be crossings for all the 2 lane US highways? Let alone all the state and county roads. I bet you can forget any county roads and country lanes crossing this muthah!:( It will effectivly both tacticaly and strategicaly the country in half. East from West. This will be the most effective mechanism of controlling population movement in the history of makind; makes the berlin wall seem like a li'l picket fence. Did I just get hit with a blast of cold paranoia? IMNotSoHO they need to build one of these from the Gulf o'Mexico to tiuhjuanna along the Mexican Border. That would eliminate the need to rebuild the Panama Canal and greatly reduce illegal immigration. Two birds with one stone. Mebbe put one up north on the Canadian border too.

If you are referring to the proposed highway from Mexico to Canada, I read somewhere,(I will try to find link) that Kansas City will be a point of entry. I own a home in Kansas and this is really scary.

Found the link. It appears to be a year old, so now the route is through Colorado?

I don't read this site much, so I am not sure how much is acurate or how much is drivel. :)

This really is huge!

Kansas City is on the corridor as an international inland port.
There is much to think about in the Nasco statement in the third link below.

I "hear" that Imminent domain will be used to condem any private land needed to construct this thing, and I believe this will amount to an amount of land equilavent to that of a state the size of North Carolina, perhaps? (I can't remember exactly which one. Doesn"t matter.) Of course, the landowners will be justly compensated (depending on who they are, what they are worth in bucks, and who they know, of course. I just "heard" this and hav'nt researched it. I may or may not pursue ths. I dunno yet.

George Noory from 'Coast to Coast AM' had a piece on this Superhighway last week. It was pretty informative. I had never heard of it until then. George always looks past the company line when he delivers his message.

Now HERE is an interesting site for political junkies:

http://markets.rasmussenreports.com/

Allows you to make wagers on the "Political Stock" of various races and candidates. Today Senator Ted Steven's stock on re-election took a nose dive, and his opponet gained greatly.

If you are a political junkie, and a stock trading guru, you'll LOVE this site....
