I was going to mention that your ranking would indicate that you're standing in water - even our friend coolhand has less in the G fund than you do. Now could be the propitious moment to get more equity and start climbing out of that well. When I'm a buyer of equity I do my best work when I'm at the bottom of the well - but it does require courage to step up.
 
The tracker is a fun tool but it is not a reflection of ones over all portfolio. I do, however condenscending the tone, appreciate your concern for me Birch.
The courage piece was a nice touch. That would get you smacked in person.:nuts:
 
Left half % on the table today by standing in water. At least I was not holding an electrical cord.
Maybe next time.
 
This market is not going to give any early indications so I'm off to the post office. Gotta send in my $75 so my FD don't forget about me.:D

Back from the post office, now I'm replacing the front shocks on the super duty. What a bear.

Witching hour is here. Lets see if the market does its 30 minute dance or goes into the weekend quietly.

Between yesterday and today I feel violated on the closing price of the I fund. But then again I never was any good at figuring that crap out.

BT, the water just got deeper but I probably won't be out long.
 
A little selling pressure this morning. The big moneys gotta take some profit then pump it back in if it is to continue upward. As long as the VIX holds steady to curb fear and volatility. VIX up 7%.

Thoughts BT (4 year cycle)?
 
Well the VIX finished up 8% today, which IMO is not overly volatile and should not cause much concern.

Tomorrow, mittwoch, should give us a better indication of market direction. It is possible we sell off a bit more then flat line till after the end of the month. We shall see.

Couple of years ago I bought mmm, mcd, cat and ibm. sold all but cat today at 2x purchase and doubled down on cat.
TAX man a comin.:nuts:
