WorkFE's Account Talk

Europe flat, Asia up and futures hovering in the green. If you are looking for an exit, the pres talks around 11 today. Generally that means big up or down day. We shall see.
Surprised europe is hanging in there in light of Deutsche Bank news.

GL today everyone

Of course I jumped back in the water yesterday.

NASA, I generally like hitting your thread prior to 1130. It is always informative and I absorb much of it. Unfortunetly I was installing a light switch this morning that to my surprise had wall damage behind the outlet and took longer than anticipated. Job done but it is now 1 pm. Stuck where I am until monday but we could continue upward for a bit longer. I am attempting to do a Grab and Go this month if the opportunity presents itself.

Futures starting out on the green side, dollar down and overseas green at the moment. China pushing Asia along on the early going.

Today should be an interesting start to the week. GL

Advertising is one of those indicators worth watching. They tend to have their finger on something.

Might be to late if you're the hit and run type.

"Going up to the close on Tuesday, we could see a little bit of enthusiasm, and perhaps it could be the catalyst that could push us above 1,130 on the S&P,"

Already got the T-Shirt:D

Futures up a bit. Euro flat to green and Asia up.

The VIX has been under pressure lately. Lets see if we can get it under 21 today. If that happens we could very well see DOW 11,000

Futures hovering just inside the red. Might be a slow day with a flat finish. If you're looking to take some off the table for cash preservation, today might be the day.
I think I'll let it ride.

Almost jumped out of the pond yesterday. Wouldn't surprise me with a slight pullback today. Tomorrow makes me nervous. Could be a huge selloff with portfolios taking 3rd quarter profits to balance out the 4th quarter with the holidays coming up.

Slight profit taken to end the quarter yesterday. I am cautiously optimistic for October but then again there are the nonbelievers: http://www.marketwatch.com/story/se...tocks-october-odds-2010-10-02?dist=beforebell

If futures were the indicator we'd be heading for a good start of the quarter. 1 of 90 days does not make the quarter however. ;)

Fridays and Mondays have been big so the next few trading days might give us some indication.

GL today everybody.

I was going to offer you some thoughts about climbing out of the well but I'll just mind own business.
