Futures are green this fine morning. Overseas are green this fine morning. The naysayers are out in full force today doing whatever they can to drag this market down. Be vigilant, it's your money.
Happy Birthday US ARMY. A quiet one this year.
 
The end of day selloff yesterday was present but the depth was contained. Flat. Have not seen that in awhile.
Futures are up (again) this morning.
 
Europe holding green and Asia up some.

Futures slightly in the red this morning but nothing dramatic.

Although there is plenty of time left in the day the market seems to be headed in the GREEN direction. Either way it does not matter today (Friday :nuts:). I dug the hole last night and today at 6PM I am putting the pig in the ground for the pig roast tomorrow. Also a whole case of home brew and my saturday will be perfect. No bad news today. :D
 
Bummer of a day. Was not around a computer all day and did not see the market close until I got home. ARGH
Might get some bounce over the next few days but for those who dive in and out be careful end of next week.

Stuck on stupid, this is not an easy time to be in equities.
I'm not sure how those job numbers are disappointing, the gov't has done nothing to encourage the private sector to grow. At least we have healthcare. :rolleyes:

I believe it's time for me to stop watching and enjoy the summer.
 
Wife and I spent the evening in the yard and garden. Will have to start canning soon as the garden is out pacing our consumption. Apache Blackberries are ready for the taking, gotta get some before the birds. Takes my mind off this crazy economy stuff.

Tough decision! After 2008, I said I would never ride another market down, but here I am....:nuts: Nothing looks good right now. May be time to take my loses and sail to the harbor and mend my sails...
