I was hoping for a bigger green signal before noon because we've seen this mid level gain stuff sell off easy in the afternoon. Considering pulling some gains into the garage for a few days. Anticipating a small pull back between tomorrow and end of next week. Might not be worth the IFT.
Heck we may go up another 5%.
Safety Day here on the base. Funny thing is I teach risk management this afternoon. Coincidence?:laugh:

Don't break anything jumping off. I think I'll hold to see if we get some follow through on monday. Still have 50% in G to pump in should we get that much talked about 5-10% correction but this could be a shake where we get 1/2 back today and the other 1/2 back monday. Insiders new this GS crap was coming.
 
TGIF. Lets hope for a banner day.
Tomorrow morning I will be scouring forms to bet on the derby. :D
I love the ponies but this is the only race of the year I actually bet on except when my brother in law is in town and wants to go to the track.

Futures up this morning. Might as well finish out the week on a good note.
 
Nice little run up this morning but fading a bit. We will probably float around this area the rest of the day until 3, then up or down. At least thats the way its seems to be acting lately.
One of my favorites, Caterpillar, gave the markets a big shot in the arm early.
Keep this in the back of your mind if they downsize the workforce. :D

Saw your post on my post. You and the family will have to schedule some R&R and revist the coast. I'm sure a lot has changed in many of the towns we have lived in or passed through in the last 35 or so years. Got to run time to work. CUL.:D
 
On friday I went majority cash. Yesterday I thought "thats it, what a rip off". Today is what I expected yesterday. If I had been in the office today before noon I probably would have jumped back in. Tomorrow I will be on the road to Quantico. Not going to make a move until I see how the week plays out but with 1 IFT remaining you can bet I be where I want to be come the 1st.

Thanks SB, at some point it has to be attractive.

BT, holding 25% out just for the I fund. Thinking next week might be the time to buy some up. Early or late is the question. HMMM
 
I took a 10% position in the I fund at $17.61 on 2/16. Took back 5% at $18.69 on 3/31. Waiting for the under $18 price if possible - otherwise I'll take the current market price back to $19.33. So I've got two days for weakness to settle and then I buy 10%. A price of $19.80 would be a perfect price to get back out.
