Interesting observation, it would appear 43% of TSP participants are in vested in the G-Fund this sure seems conservative.

I believe folks are just sitting tight until the fiasco in Wash. is resolved. Of course there will always be something on the political horizon so whats the point, but this could have huge implications. I guess we will find out soon enough.

I think it is more realistic to think that people sign up for TSP which defaults to G, then do nothing.

I find that to be the case with the Military. Civilians?

Maybe I am giving folks to much credit. I would think a good CPAC would atleast push folks towrds a corresponding L-Fund.
In any event I think the worry over the safety of the G-fund should not be any greater than the equity funds. They are all backed by the FED just not managed by them.
