WorkFE's Account Talk

I'm in F Fund and have 1 IFT, I just don't plan to be in over the weekend and think we will have a few more down days. I gave a greater discussion on my move yesterday in my thread on the 17th, if your more interested in my thought process.

Finally some winter weather. Safe driving if you must.
Merry belated Christmas and a Happy New Year to All.

Staying put for now. To politically cold out there.

SEQUESTRATION
U.S. legal procedure in which automatic spending cuts are triggered, notably implemented in the Budget Control Act of 2011

We now are faced with sequestration because of failed policies from Obama - $5 trillion wasted in four years. WTH is he thinking? More welfare, food stamps and unemployment benefits - there is no incentive to be productive. So bust this guys chops with a debt ceiling that is unpenetrable.

When it's all said and done I may need welfare, food stamps and unemployment benefits.
Nah. Plant some more corn.

Anyone know if IFT's will be processed on the 31st

HOLIDAY CLOSING
Some financial markets will be closed on Tuesday, January 1st in observance of the New Year's Day holiday. The Thrift Savings Plan will also be closed. Transactions that would have been processed Tuesday night (January 1st) will be processed Wednesday night (January 2nd), at Wednesday's closing share prices.

Up in alaska each resident of the state gets a check from the state govt. Last year it was less than $1,ooo -barely covers my monthly water/wastewater bill.:(

I dont get anything ($) here in KY. I use the monthly minimum on my county water, $500 a year. I also have a well that I use during the summer months for the garden, washing toys etc. No wastewater bill, I have a septic, but it does cost me about $100 a year in upkeep.

Do you pay income, property, and/or sales taxes? I.E. Is the check net refund due to oil & gas revenues, etc.? Interesting!
