WorkFE's Account Talk

This is one resilient market and hard to read.

In Nov 2021 the I fund bounced off $40 a share a few times then began a retreat south. It has been on the rebound and closing in on those Nov. 2021 numbers over the past few months. Might be time for me to eject, finger on the button.

I'm a bit confused on the G fund rate drop after yesterdays .25 rate hike, but then again that one has always confused me.

I think it freezes interest payments until rectified.

Seems kind of strange. If I go to the bank to borrow money it will cost me more today than it would have last week. If I go to TSP and borrow from myself it will cost me less than it would have last week. :notrust:

Frozen, like a deer in the headlights. What is going on?

In the infamous words of Birchtree, Let it ride. Snort.

Don't know.
I was reading through some old post (10-12 Y.O.) this week, dang he was a serious permabull.
We used to spar, miss that person.

I'm sure they left a message when they were slowing down posting, but I was out for a few years. I didnt get to the post where they mentioned it.

A few years ago, after he stopped posting, he was still in the AT with an allocation of 80% C, 20% I (or similar) and was in the top 10% of the tracker. :cheesy:

I get the feeling this market is trying to lull us into indecision.
Your either out because you're afraid of the big drop or you're in because you don't want to miss that 1%+ day.

I've seen it written in a couple other threads, DIVERSIFY.

I am in my brokerage account... I'm out of moves for TSP at the moment, next exit takes me to March! :suspicious:

Last week had its moments but at the end of the day fell on its face.
Need to get back on track, if not it could snowball.

Today, hopefully, will be a solid day. CPI data tomorrow, no idea how that will be received.

All the turmoil in the world and now we are chasing $20 hot air balloons with $350M F-22's :suspicious:

Ain't nobody sleepwalking through this garbage. This market will definitely keep you on your toes.

I feel like a Ninja.

Last week was a good week to be gone away from the computer visiting the Grandchildren.
Something that, if things continue, I won't be able to afford to do in the future.

Lets get some back this week. Lots of FED speakers this week and next.
