I can't play my guitar anymore. Lost the calluses on the tips of my fingers and can't fret the steel strings anymore. If karcrazy doesn't want the tambourine, may I play it?

Yeah, the FROG POND sucks. I dont think I've ever got out with a gain, but I just keep going back in like an idiot....:nuts: From now on it's stocks or the G fund. NO MORE FROG POND. Please remind me. Hopefully we can get a couple more days out of this rally. GL and ice down that keg.

Your right, real sailors love open blue water sailing. Glad to hear it's time to launch the boat. We've had some great sailing weather lately, upper 80's and 15-25 south wind. Can't beat it. Get that boat tuned and ready for the regatta, which I'm sure you already have. I'll be down in Pensacola Fl next week and will probably rent a small boat to play around on. GL on your trades and the regatta.

Thanks Steady. For years I tried to play like Vai, Johnson, Hendrix, etc, and would only get frustrated, then one day a light came on and I realized that I will never be able to play like them, but they could inspire me to create my own music and playing has been alot more fun since.

Oh yes, I have a really good pair sunglasse, but the problem is keeping my head from turning when they walk by. It gets me in trouble everytime...

Have a great vacation my wonderful friend and brother. We are most definately kindred spirits. The truth is you could play like them but then you would be "chained to their songs and their style" which is very uncool. By far the greatest achievement is becoming who you are 'A MUSICIAN IN YOUR OWN RIGHT'.
Over the years I've been so amazed with the tallent other guitarists have displayed by playing like the hundreds of well known greats. Then I'll ask if I can play a song and I'll crank out my own stuff and their mouth drops and eyes pop open and they always want to know "Wow - who plays that"?? And it always end the same way when I tell them it's my own stuff. They realize I got em beat - AND YOU KNOW I'M NOT SAYING THAT TO BRAG MAN BECAUSE YOU KNOW WHAT I'M TAKING ABOUT.
You have reached the highest high my friend and it only gets better from here
