Yah, I'm probably going in for a few days and snag 1-2% (hopefully) and then running to the lilly pad.....

"Snag a percent and run to the lilly pad"

Would that be in the Key of G or C??

Rock or Country??

Sounds like a great tune my friend - could be a big hit! :D

Today certainly appears like a good set up for a great gain; but it's equally possible that what we're seeing is just the first stage of a fairly big drop.

IMO - wait for the dust to settle (Birch Mentality) and then go in. What I mean by Birch Mentality is "don't be in a rush" - the Markets aren't going anywhere and you're way better off jumping in on solid stability - than marked volitile swings. Anyway - that's how I see it.

Well GL - and happy gains.

How about C# minor - The Wind Cries Mary- Just for you! And feel free to jam along. I have been in the key of F for a month now and my hand is really cramping. Time to jump in with my man Uptrend and make a little. I dont plan on staying long. GL to you my friend.

How about C# minor.

C# sounds good to me - will bring the wah wah.

Figured I'd start out with something like the ending to "Let's go Crazy".

Ya know people just don't hear that kick ass stuff anymore - not on that kind of level - well anyway then we'll just kind of kick into the beat and do some heavy jammin' - maybe FogSailing - Buster, Mamikin, CorMaGa34, and the rest of the gang will stop by. If so - I'll bring a couple of slides - cause you know how Mamikin shakes to the slide --- ohh yeal.

Okay..I'm sorry to butt in here..but just wanted to say this was the best song ever...

Part 1

Part 2..who can do the drum solo?

I know what that is even all blurry ....without listening to it - I still have my platter and original cover!!!! Early "head music" "psychedelic/acid rock" "heavy metal" "hard rock" the song that refused to fit any one genre yet defined psychedelic rock ... outstanding guitar, organ and drum solos! Is that the 17 minute version Buster? Hard to believe that was 40 years ago....

"Oh won't you come with me and take my hand, oh won't you come with me, and walk this land, please take me hand."

Do you know what the title really is?;)

Sweet..yeah it's so long, Utube had to put up in two parts...I lost my LP of it many years ago..:(

What exactly did the title mean?..PM me if it's not appropriate for open forum....But I remember a lot of TJ Swan bubbling in a bong while zoning out to this tunage.

After that maybe you can tell me the lyrics of Louie Louie:D

Wow, something that Buster and I totally agree on! ;)

Iron Butterfly's "Garden" song, with it's pheromone producing drum solo, transforms my business suits to tie-dyed t-shirts and peace symbol pendants once again.

You keep finding these great oldies and we'll have to change your name from Buster to Wolfman Jack!

Thanks for the blast from the past!

Lady

I always thought it was "In the Garden of Eden" - with Adam singing after smoking...oops...biting into... the fruit of Knowledge and is overwhelmed with images and pieces of knowledge he can never grasp (Eve is equally overwhelmed by the way, she took a bite first). But I'm a Buster, so I might not understand.

Silverbird,

You're right. It's "In the Garden of Eden." Doug was stoned out of his gourd and stumbled over the lyrics so they changed the title cause it sounded so "cool".:rolleyes:

I don't have to PM this one, Buster. ;)

WOW!! Wind Hunter - looks like we've got a few more joining the crowd. I'll bring the lava lamps along and maybe we can dim the lights in your music room and slip out to roll a few.

ANYWAY THE LYRICS HERE ARE FROM THE ALBUM

"IN A GADDA DE VITA" by Iron Butterfly. Only available on the old big albums and all the record players back then were crap (but no one knew) so everyone enjoyed it.

Sounds Great! Got new strings on my old Strat and she sounds amazing thru my tube amp with my fuzz face. The tubes are bright cherry red and getting an awesome tone similar to Eric Johnson's Cliffs of Dover.
