you have done real good in my book this year W H i just hope today dont kill me to bad, the fun of guessing ,i guess i should not get so greedy :Dbut Todays $s look good for now i guess i better enjoy before tonights nightmare begins lol:blink: G L see you next week sure hate to see my desk already the pain is coming back:D just kidding
 
Missed the rally last week and I dont really want to chase the market now. too much euphoria right now. Think I'll hang out on my lilly pad and hopefully find an entry point soon.
 
Figured today would be a down day but it looks good so far. Went to the I fund tomorrow for the bounce. (I Hope) Will probably only play it one day...:confused:

Thanks cc, I haven't had alot of time to see whats going on so I just went to the lilly. Looks like you got a little back today. Hopefully we go up from here and not further down. If the markets look good this morning, I will probably buy back in. And if these people in our office will leave me the hell alone. They are driving me nuts...:nuts: and taking away from my TSP time....:D
 
Hi WS and CC:

Hope all is well...WS, I've got a new jib ordered to improve my boat's pointing ability. I'll let you know if the experts know what they're talking about. If you have battens in your mainsail (not bats in your belfry), I learned that you have to sand the battens on the luff end of the sail (1/3 of the sail) to about 2/3 the width of the rest of the batten. Makes the sail perform and point the boat better. Just wanted to pass that on...

CC: How's that engine revving bro???

i hear you brother i think they are trying to keep the excedren selling well maybe we need stock in excedrin:eek: G L today. hey maybe you can get that job and be more confused but more $ for the headache:blink:new system sux but have to go with flow

All is well Fogsailor. You sound like a serious racer. I dont have full battens on the Hunter mainsail but I'm not really a serious racer. Just race for fun once in a while. Like they say, if two boats are headed in the same direction. It's a race...:D Took the Hobie to Table rock in Missouri last week. Wow, what a beautiful lake. Not much wind, maybe 10-15 but it was fun. Looking forward to this weekend on the Hobie Cat

The local weather is forcasting 15-25 this weekend. Now that's fun, trapped out flying across the lake. Wahoo!
 
Good Luck WS. I'm trying a buy and hold (with a once a month reassessment )strategy. I'll see how things look on August 25th...Obviously, July was a major bummer...but I hope August does a turn around. July was the equivalent of RED IN THE MORNING, SAILOR's WARNING...Guess I need to listen to those old wives tales more often.

Actually that is probably a better strategy than trading 2-3 times a week. I have been waiting for a reversal so I could get back in. Hopefully there wont be too much down side. Get right and sit tight keeps going through my head. I think it might be that birch dude. LoL...:laugh:
