Well was a sad day with everything that has occurred in the news :(. Hoping tomorrow is better all around.
 
The Santa Clause rally typically comes later in the month. In fact I think the 1st week of December is often down. Anybody have any figures on that?

Its reflected in the seasonality chart in Tom's market comments.

Santa tends to come around mid-month just after a drop... well at least during the past two years. Prior to that it is mixed. Looks like the first few days of December are sometimes good before the drop that happens before Santa arrives at mid-month. But I think 2012 was not like that... seemed strong from start if I remember correctly with a smaller drop before Santa. Really no guarantee of when it starts but I tend to think more around the 15th or 16th of month. Best wishes!!

P.S. Oh yes.. and Tom's seasonality chart should show it as well. I was looking back at the Nov/Decembers in Stock Charts free charts. Plugging in the specific two month range to see that.
 
I'm tempted to stay in next week a bit lol, been such a weird week maybe Santa rally starts early? Just guessin there or hoping lol. Wouldn't surprise me to go up and exit to G find :(

Well futures up :/ lol don't know if that is good or bad anymore lol. Let's hope we go up wayyyyyy up today to make up for yesterday. Gonna see how they day goes but thinking of staying in now maybe next week won't be so bad compared to this week :(. Good luck all
 
Thinking now to stay in. Hoping next week we rebound more prior to yellen the following week. Might exit next Thurs/Fri or if we have multiple good days next week. Good luck to all.

That is what I am hoping for. Hoping that the conviction with which Yellin indicated a rate hike these past two days is what caused the drop and that the job numbers are now solidifying that thought in the market... so maybe we have seen the full drop?? (Well except the staunchest who will wait to hear it from her lips on 12/16) I guess we will see. Best wishes to you Wiff and to everyone !!!! :smile:
 
Well gonna stick it out, hope we go up tomorrow or this afternoon things stabilize and get better. If we go up high tomorrow, might exit to G until next week after Yellen talks.
 
Well futures down 100 already :(. Ugh another rough start. Maybe we go up tomorrow? Don't want to get out and take that loss yet :(.
 
Well stocks seem to be making a push higher, hmmmm... Rebound in the afternoon, then go higher tomorrow and Thursday? Then get out maybe Friday and go back in next week? Hmmm decisions.
