I probably jinxed it with that last post. S&P was approaching 2900. But the afternoon fade ensures I'm still negative.;damnit

Didn't nasa1974 say something about "baby steps"...:rolleyes:
 
Just kidding RF, futures are off though. :notrust: Need to see some strength as Tom said, or could be a bad sign. Weekly charts show a bottoming tail reversal forming, would sure like to see that materialize into some upside action right now.
 
Looks like the S fund is back testing support, charts generally moving up and to the right... holding position. Have a great weekend everyone! Have to go take my Mom to the dentist! :D

Of the 13 business days so far this month 8 have been negative and 5 have been positive. At this point, I think we are in for another negative day. Perhaps it is time to start thinking about reducing exposure...:(
 
Maybe... if the current rate of change to the plus side continues, we'll be well positive by the close. Of course, too late to do anything today. I thought I was buying the dips when I got in...
 
Futures are UP! :cool: Didn't see the strength I was looking for in the afternoon, so we got a doji / spinning top. No conviction, indecision... RSOTC thinks the last rally was a kick-back in a larger down trend that is beginning. Might make sense to take an exit on strength today in light of potential weakness in the near term. Hmmmm.

MarketWatch Big Charts can't find the S-Fund any more. Was using 'Dwcpf' ; is there a different name/symbol I should be using?
