yes. my system went in yesterday and is going get its ass kicked, hard, for a few days. i know this feeling, impending doom, writ large. chin up donkey, take it like a man.

Well, turns out my disclaimer non-trading advice wasn't too off the mark many days ago. April was a good month for me overall in combined accounts.

It's OK to collect G Fund for a while. You have done well. Pick a day in the last week of the month and go into May invested. If I hadn't slow rolled out of my TSP holdings I would probably do that. This is not trading advice and all those other disclaimers.

Not jumping in today, last time I tried to get in on the 1st for the extra IFT it was disasterous. I think a good entry point is near, though Greece and the whole Eurozone thing has me spooked. Contributions are going into S, so I have a toenail in the water, FWIW. Be careful out there...

Totally agree with you Whipsaw. I hate the FEAR thing....just gets me all discombobulated.. but I'm not sure I'm brave enough.....err... make that foolhardy enough.... to play with all my marbles in this market..

Seems pretty strong out of the gates for a dead cat bounce... thoughts, anyone? Back up or more downside?

It seams to have leveled out at 50% or less of yesterday's loss. Looks like it has some more downside to go, but will wait for the close to see.

Radio said this morning futures were down on Asian trading financial reports... I used to hit Yahoo Finance for the futures graphs, they're not displaying on the front page any more :-/

Still looking for an entry point, maybe soon if we get a down turn today...

My TSP spreadsheet shows avioding a 2.6% drop in the S fund, missing a 1.25% gain in the I since 24 March... interesting... (who was saying we're still in 'market noise'). Hopefully we're close to a bottom, would like to make some coin.

Hi Everyone!
Although my status is 'Newbie,' I've been on this site since '05. Reading the Members Account Talk is a highlight of the day as I work to read the tea leaves in making TSP moves. The account name was appropriate as I have been prone to making some wrong moves at the extremes of the market emotion sign wave, buying high and selling low :blink:. At any rate, its about time I showed up... Not that I have any particular insights into the market, but I may be able to add some color commentary .
